A question concerning the top radiant apex mount from the new crates.

my question is about its prints on the ground. the mount has hooves but it uses a senche-raht style mount. i was wondering if it has hoof prints on the ground or is it paw prints.

after discussing it with a few people. its clear that Zos has to put the new crown crates and their rewards back on the PTS before they are released. its perfectly clear to me that absolutely no one on the special test team is either testing it or should be trusted to test it. Zos needs to let the full player base get their hands on it before its released. this is purely a cosmetic issue and the way these crown items look ingame. i hope Zos corrects this for the new crown crate rewards and also look back on the old crown crate rewards to see if there is issues with how they look ingame.

im not complaining here even though everyone would argue that i am. im just pointing out what looks like obvious flaws with how these items are presented ingame when they need more time to bake in the oven. Zos would be surprised how a lot of these cosmetic issues has fallen under their radar and has done so for over 8 years now.

the solution is simple i hope the devs will very much consider it in the future.

You aren't wrong that testing on these would be welcome. That way people would know more what they are buying and if there are any issues, like the accessory only visible in certain situations and the gap/clipping being discussed regarding the 400 gem dress.

i want to love these crown crates but a few people pointed out big turn offs about these items and i seriously question using my seals of endeavors on them.

Did you get an answer to your question because I am also curious. The Shackled Titan mount uses senche paw prints when something like durzog or guar would suit it perfectly, and it's always bothered me to the point I don't use it anymore. I kind of like the Manifestation of Chaos Steed, but I wouldn't waste my seals on it if it's going to be a repeat of that experience.

I’m curious if going to an area that leaves prints and previewing it there would work. The effect prints that some mounts leave show up in previews but not sure if it’d interact with the ground itself.

Doesn't work unfortunately, I tried it on a beach in Solstice. Previewing must lead to a special Daedric plane
