ZOS, thanks for sending the survey email yesterday titled "Help Improve ESO—We’re Listening!". I just filled out the survey. Hopefully you get a good response rate from players.

I was surprised to see the survey in my in-box yesterday. I think this might be the first one I've ever been sent. I filled it out like a good game citizen and sent it on its way.

I don't know if there are other factors involved, but one big issue is that these surveys are only sent to players who opt-in to receive marketing emails in their eso account settings on the website.

Additionally, I also believe their survey software requires you answer that you’re over 18 right at the start. For folks who wish not to answer that, the survey closes out (so I have heard) and I’m not sure if that would maybe put them on a “do not send” list for future surveys?

Actually, wondering how and why surveys go out to folks (i.e. are there certain factors or is it purely random selection) seems like a harmless enough question. Perhaps @ZOS_Kevin can answer or let us know if it’s confidential company secrets and can’t.

No survey here.

It strikes me as bizarre that surveys aren't sent to the entire playerbase that has the marketing stuff checked. How can a company hope to get an accurate response when they're only asking a portion of their user base questions?

Check your junk mail sometimes these things get flagged.

My survey was in my other in box where most of the ESO things come to the focused mailbox.

I know I have not always gotten past surveys, some but not all, so not sure how they determine who/where to send.

I did try checking there. Apparently 100s of people think I'd like a mail-order bride. Who knew?

I'm surprised they don't just post it on the forums. There's definitely interest here.

They should provide access in-game as well. Would only cover people logging in but it's a start.

Both my 11+ year old (subbed) main and 1 yo alt (no sub) account received the survey. Maybe it's based on geography or something?

I do a search of my mailbox, it pulls from everywhere doing that, makes it easier trying to find something that way.

Would love to know who gets this mail.

Played 2015-2020 on PS4, 2020-now on PC. CP 3600. Just calculated that I spend 4500 Euros since 2020.

I’m going to guess (unless we get a real answer) it’s entirely random. Because I have been playing in PlayStation since 6 months after it released on console with zero breaks and genuinely don’t wanna do the math on what I’ve spent between Crown sales and preordering every chapter release. LOL

So it’s not just some brand new players getting this.

Sometimes companies have to stagger sending these out.

just like how ZOS might give you a spamming temp suspension if you send too many mails at once, email companies like google will do the same.
