Mundane Runes come from runestone nodes but not from Psijic Portals, so this stat could help us figure out approximately how many runestones you harvested to get 1000 mundane runes (somewhere around 1500 with maxed Plentiful Harvest). It doesn’t speak to how many portals you found in that time, though. In my experience it’s far from a 1:1 relationship in terms of runestone:portal appearances. Portals are meant to appear “rarely,” per the patch notes, so they should not be as commonly found as runestones. And their contents are independent of how many runestones you’ve found.

In my experience before this patch I’ve got a drop rate of 0.9% for Hakeijo from portals (1 in 111 recorded pulls), which suggests to me it’s likely a 1% chance, though the math seems to allow for anywhere from 0.3% to 1.6%. With the chance being this low, you’ll need a substantial number of portals to figure out if Hakeijo have been cut completely. It would take over 460 portals in a row without one Hakeijo to show that the chance is lower than 1%. And then over 900 to show it’s under 0.5%.

This isn’t to say it hasn’t been changed. Just to put numbers to the post above that Hakeijo are rare and so you’ll need a large sample size of portals (runestones irrelevant) to show the drop chance has been lowered.

In the 60 days prior to Update 50 I farmed up 23 Motif 10 and 14 Hakeijo Whilst farming up Runestones and portals with 14800 Runestone just saying that the loot table for the portals has changed

This week sine update 50 I have farmed up 1300 mundane runes from runestone nodes about every 30th node has spawned as a psijic portal I have 13 Aurbic Amber and lots of blue and purple gear drops but no Motif 10s Psijic Ambrosia or Hakeijo

I got a Psijic Chest Motif not 10 mins ago from a portal so they are still dropping.

These numbers suggest you currently have a streak of 0 Hakeijo in about 60 portals (if you’re using Plentiful Harvest) or 0 in about 90 (without). That’s very much within the realm of expectations given your estimated prior drop rate of around 1-2% for Hakeijo from just before the patch.

That’s not to say definitively that nothing has changed. It’s to say we can’t tell from a sample size this small, especially with such approximate figures. I can certainly think of a reason why ZOS might have removed Hakeijo this patch, and we know they do introduce bugs and unannounced changes frequently. But to show something has changed, the number of portals needs to be specific (not approximately how many mundane runes and about how many portals per runestone), and the number of portals farmed must be much larger.

Ok since trader flip this week I have farmed up 9 Aurbic Amber and 60 Pulverized Aurbic Amber either drops from roughly every 6th psijic portal. So roughly about 414 psijic portals harvested in 4 days I will admit in a week I would end up with 1 to 2 Hakeijo after a full weeks farming 2 to 4 Crafting Motif 10 Imperial Style and 2 Psijic Ambrosia just putting it out there that non of those 3 items dropping seems odd like the loot table has changed when you look at passed drop rates I have had

But that can drop anywhere, why worry if it's not dropping from Portals?

Oh I have only had it drop from portals for my self good to know
