I'll definitely be looking forward to the Mundus stone changes!
Still waiting for answers about class set aura behavior, and also hoping that one day hair dyeing will be an option. We know it's canon thanks to a book in the Manor of Masques! (House of Reveries: The Troupe)

    That sounds great!

    One question:
What are the numbers for the new mundus effect (+exp) ?
So will full divines with this mundus overlap full training with it?
Maybe it is time to replace a training trait with something else if we can run +exp build in full divines.

I’m genuinely looking forward to the introduction of new Alchemy reagents and the expanded potion possibilities that come with them. One thing I’m especially hoping for is better potion naming. Clearer, more descriptive names would make crafting and inventory management so much smoother.
PC/NA — Trials DPS • Dungeons Healer • Master Angler
Herowyn is the title; Kerowyn is the one holding the inferno staff or the fishing pole.
Weekends are for fishing . . . even if it’s just a suspiciously shallow puddle.

A LONG TIME COMING. This is good to see.

Hope we continue seeing projects like this alongside the reworks, as long as they don't impact the timeline of the reworks. There has been so much from the past 5 years left in unfinished states. A scibing pass for example would also be great, adjusting the power levels of certain skills and opening up variety of scripts for others.

I did not see it mentioned in the post, but something that we've recently seen become prominent is the usage of armor potions. These potions provide an unnamed 5280 spell resistance, phyiscal resistance, or both depending on how you make them. This is a pretty high value to receive from a potion and is causing some serious imbalance on the classes that can afford to use them (DK/Sorc). Is there any chance this potion could instead be changed to grant a (hybridized) major ward & resolve alongside this rework, instead of a flat 5280 resistance bonus? This would curb the power creep mentioned above, and simultaneously would provide an actual interesting way to source your major armor buff, saving on barspace for classes who are tight on it.

Looking forward to seeing what new potions/poisons are possible!

Great news, hybridization will finally be cohesive, really hope the unique passive changes also bring more class diversity among groups.

I've been very happy with ESO this year, it's almost weird to be excited for every new patch instead of dreading it, please keep this trend going!

I'm looking forward to this. The Mundus stone change in particular is very much appreciated - that's a real QoL benefit for both new characters and newly subclassed lines in particular.

Due to the consolidation and introduction of new traits, we have changed the priority of many traits to improve visual communication and differentiate potions further. For example, if a potion provides the Heroism buff, it is classified as an Essence of Heroism over Essence of Magicka. This makes it easier to identify potions with more unique and valuable effects over basic resource restoration potions.

    Huge, thank you!

I welcome the changes to hybridization!

It’s good that the pre-DLC classes will have their unique minor buffs refreshed, but it’s worthwhile pointing out that now every single class will have a passive skill that provides a unique minor buff to the group, except for the Necro.

    DK- minor brutality
    NB- minor savagery
    Sorc - minor (penetration)
    Templar - (unique armour)
    Warden - minor toughness
    Arcanist - minor evasion

    Necro - minor exclusion :(

@ZOS_Kevin Sorry for the tag - but do you happen to know if the four new reagents will be added to the imperial city telvar satchels? "Waxed Apothecary's Satchel" is the name of the bag, I believe. I know many PVP players would love to see this, as these bags have always been a boon to us given the rate we go through reagents when playing PVP. Newer potion reagents that don't exist within those bags tend to be prohibitively expensive for most people.

Could you tell me the ''buff not easily available'' that Necromancer provides to the party? I think I missed it, because I can't find it in the Passives. You don't mean Major Vulnerability, right? That's not even a party buff since it's a debuff on enemies and the last time it was not easily available was like 4 years ago.

If there are going to be even more alchemical reagents.... then surly you are going to increase the default bank space limit, so that those extra reagents, that create new extra stacks of items would "fit"... right ?

I mean, from the article it sounds like you are trying to meke it as seamless & least problematic as possible... but it will be problematic if we will have more "types" of crafting items to keep without the room to keep them....

Personally, I'm kind of surprised that the design approach would be choosing to increase the Offensive Penetration and Armor that is available to groups.

My impression was that in optimized PvE content people can already frequently hit the cap in organized groups for roles that really need it without necessarily putting that much effort in and this would further devalue things that provide Offensive Penetration and Armor when it comes to PvE.

Personally, I think you'd get more build diversity in the long run if Offensive Penetration and Armor went down a bit across the board and the classes got something else to buff.

If Class A was shorter on Penetration and needed to either run gear with Penetration or run Light Armor they'd end up building different than Class B which had plenty of Penetration but didn't necessarily have as much Crit Damage.

Fair enough, altho I'll be sad to see minor sorcery go from templar. I think Templar getting the 10% wpd buff and dk getting the armor would've been better.

This is a great step to finally closing out the last bits of pre-hybridization.
I do have a concern though, hopefully we can get some clarity @ZOS_Kevin ; Mora Scribe's Thesis. This trial set scales off of major/minor buff counts, by deleting a major and minor buff from the game, this is another nerf to this set. Having both Brutality and Sorcery from all sources was already considered into the power budget for this already relatively under-performing trial set. It would be great if it could get a little buff to compensate for the loss of a major and a minor buff (if not a little more to bring it up into more real usage outside niche scenarios)

I wasn't necessarily against or for hybridization, but I'm glad they're applying the route they chose to go to more things to keep the game consistent. Now... I'd just like to see that logic also applied to how some skills work slotted on one bar while others don't (Inferno vs Magelight) and how some need to be casted to gain an aspect of their buff while others don't (Surge VS Tome-Bearer's Inspiration).

...,if a potion provides the Heroism buff, it is classified as an Essence of Heroism over Essence of Magicka.

I actually didn't even consider this. This will also amount to a substantial nerf to oakfather's retribution, currently one of the most popular stat-based damage sets from PVP.

Hopefully both sets might see a small buff to compensate.

I dont know how i feel about armor and penetration.
If i have to choose i rather pick dk & nb if we just watch the minor buffs.

To outshine 10% wpn dmg the pen needs to have a high value.

I would rather see them do this:

    Sorc: Increase Grps Crit Dmg
Templar: Buffs grp´s healing done/taken (not sure on this one)

Sounds like practical changes. Is just that having to use Warrior mundus on my Mage character does not sit right with me. Mostly an RP/Identity perspective but this small detail make me raise an eyebrow.

I don't really like the thought of armor pots going away. With the current trajectory of sustain, they are about to be among the last few worthwhile options for players than can source Major Resolve.

When Weapon Damage and Spell Damage had separate functions in the game, it made sense for there to be a Mundus Stone for each. The Apprentice and Warrior stones provide Spell and Weapon Damage respectively because of this historical context, but their purposes have overlapped since the initial hybridization changes.

In Update 51, the Warrior Mundus Stone increases both forms of damage, while the Apprentice provides a new bonus of increased Experience and Inspiration gain, making it easy to level up, train crafting skills, and earn Champion Points while you bear that boon.

I bought the Apprentice Stone for my house because I wanted easy access to its spell damage buff. Having max CP this mundus becomes absolutely useless for me in U51. Please introduce a way to swap out unwanted mundus stones.

Will the Alchemy changes have anyimpact on existing Alchemy Master Writs? I'm wondering if I should be sure to do any of the existing Alchemy Master Writs before the changes are implemented, in case any of the older writs become defunct and can no longer be completed.

What would you see as being the use case for Light Armor if you get 5k penetration from being in group with a Sorc?

PvP wise, is it going to be more fun going against Ball Groups that get an extra 5k penetration and armor?

You'd also have questions on how it would interact with subclassing. Right now, the class passives can be triggered with a single line so, if you make them too good people might subclass to get multiple.
