Unless you wanted less balance in the game than we already have.
I don’t understand why fans of ESO - which is an MMORPG from an acclaimed RPG franchise - are so averse to… needing to choose things and instead want all the buffs and none of the weaknesses.
The Mastery passives are designed to not be able to get more than two at once. The point is that you can’t get it all. You are supposed to choose and make sacrifices (and Mastery in itself is also a choice because you sacrifice the ability to Subclass to get them).

Their description makes absolutely no sense to me in the german client.
Character must be level 50 and not sub-classed. You get two points to spend.

I agree with you on this one but look at Subclassing. That flies right in the face of having to make risk vs reward choices.

No, it is not another thing to farm. You can respec to change your mastery points allocations, but you can never have more than two enabled.
