Crafting dailies gold increase

Did the gold amount increase for the crafting dailies? I looked all over the patch notes and tried searching through all of the forum posts for the last 3 months but I can't seem to find any info on it.

At max level, it looks like it went from 725g to 785g per turn in (non-imperial). That's like a quarter mil a month if you have 20 max level crafting daily toons. I tried switching around overland difficulty as well and it doesn't seem to change it.

Epic change if I'm not going crazy

I get around 5k gold from the 7 dailies. Have for a long time.

Last week was 5075 and this week it's 5495

ESO+ and a specific green CP both give +10%.

With ESO+ and the green CP, I always get 5075 (5125 Imperial) for turning in all 7 writs.

I wasn't paying attention so haven't taken notice whether that's still true since u50 landed yesterday.

Did you gain any AP, perhaps it is a veterancy perk that is bugged.

I have been doing a lot of pvp, but I peeped at the rewards and none of them say anything about gold.

I asked in my guilds and others are noticing but we can't figure out why

I noticed the same thing. It seemed like I got 5.8k gold instead of the usual 5k to 5.1k.

Could this be related to the overland challenge difficulty setting? I know that the description on this says the bonuses are for drops from monsters, but perhaps mission turn ins are counting in some way?

The numbers don't add up for me, but it is at least a known change with this patch that was intended to increase gold rewards (just not explicitly in this case). If it was this, I'd expect to see the bonus gold significantly more (like an extra 1k from seasoned difficulty), but that's not the ~8.28% you observed.

I just tested on a few max-level non-Imperials (and 1 Imperial) with ESO+ and green CP and I'm now getting 785 gold per daily writ turn-in (791 for an Imperial), 5,495 total for all 7 (5,537 for an Imperial), regardless of what challenge difficulty I have selected.
So it looks like they've done a stealth increase in the gold rewards for some quests, including daily crafting writs!

I checked the overland difficulties when I was doing it this morning.

I had my main on vestige from the day earlier (just in case it needed an overnight change for some reason), others were on master, others were on newb setting. - They were all the same gold. A random 60g increase per daily quest, per char. it adds up - 60 x 7 x 20 = an extra 8400g per day or a quarter mil per month if you are consistent

I checked this on all 8 of my characters today and they all have more gold after turning in their writs than they had before. I know this because they all start off with 2000 gold in their packs when I log them on every day and they all had 1459 gold more than they usually end up with after turning in.

I am not using any of the difficulty choices so it's not that.

I haven't checked my numbers today, but my daily take from doing 7 writs on my non-Imperial master crafter fluctuates a little bit depending on how many pieces of Ornate gear I get (0 to 4) and what each piece is (since different pieces sell for different amounts of gold).

I had already done my writs on my main account (the only one with ESO+), so I'll have to check that tomorrow.

On the alt account, which does NOT have ESO+, they were still getting 4,648 gold for doing all 7 daily writs, which is the normal amount. Every character does have Guilded Fingers (+10% gold green CP) at max level.

Thus, if there is an issue, it's likely due to ESO+. I didn't see any change in ESO+ gold (from +10% to +20% would explain the different amount) in the in-game menu, nor in the patch notes.

it would be nice if they decided to double some of the ESO+ rewards

Thanks for checking that. I just looked at the eso+ description in game and it hasnt changed. It still says 10% for gold, exp, etc. Might narrow it down a little

Well something changed because every day for as long as I remember I had the exact same amount of gold in my pack on all my characters after turning in my writs and now it's more.

I just tested on 2 separate accounts.

On #1 woodelf is getting 785 each, for 5495 total.

On #2 darkelf is getting 737 for 5159 total.

It wont let me edit, so i should point out the difference between those 2 accounts.

The one getting 785 has 5 bars in Gilded fingers. The other account only has 1 bar in Gilded Fingers.

Id rather see them do away with it altogether. You should have to play the game to make gold, not have 10 alts. There needs to be a world trader too so the people taking multiple Guild traders away from the Realm 52 weeks out of the year cant take us to the cleaners anymore.

Its 5495 again today for all 20 of my characters. I don't know why folks are all seeing different numbers or the same old one. PCNA here though if that matters.

I didn't pay as close attention as others here, but I did watch as I did my writs this morning. I was between 5.1 and 5.5k gold rewards. When I did a brief investigation on what might be different across my characters, it was primarily the Gilded Fingers CP, which some of my characters lacked.

I did notice a slight increase in gold from daily crafting writs this week. I will make a particular note today to see what the average and total is across all nine of my characters.
