What is bring done about the bugged Cyrodiil leaderboards?

The leaderboards in Cyrodiil Greyhost are broken. I was completely stripped of all my leaderboard AP when U50 went live. But not everyone was. So some people came back with 2 mil AP, but some of us who were on top of leaderboards came back with nothing. No rewards to compensate. Not even a new campaign. The campaign still has the correct amount of remaining days, however most of the people who were actually on leaderboard with millions of AP got shafted. What is going to be done about this?

I reset Greyhost as my campaign when U50 went live. So Greyhost is my home again. When I logged in after patch, I had no home. I chose GH as my home, and started with 0AP on a character that was #2 and had over 3.2mil. I had been completely reset.

Logged in to find my faction suddenly 2.5k points in the lead on GH and half the players total strangers from closed campaigns.

The great thing about this is that Ad now cannot dominate the dark hours with their unemployed. Full bars in all three factions well into the early hours. Byebye GH Dominion.

I'm not sure what type of delusions it takes to write something like this, but it's irrelevant to the bug I am reporting.

My guess is you play a completely different time zone than me and are incapable of understanding that some time frames of the game are dominated by certain colors. For instance I play mostly daytime and prime-time and it is mostly over run by DC this campaign. While I get that it's frustrating to get run over by 8x your numbers in PVP, your comment makes zero sense pertaining to anything I am trying to report. (I.E The BUG.) Have a day! and have fun out there!

Update : It may be important to note that the character in question is either being reset consistently or is not gaining any AP at all now. No matter what I do this character does not gain any leaderboard AP.

I feel like the reason at least for my leaderboard score being reset might have something to do with other characters. When I only used one character the leaderboard worked fine but when I used a second character, both scores disappeared at some point.

I did notice my Sorc is gaining AP just fine (I did not play my sorc in GH until after the patch) That char is keeping all her AP.

but my original DK character I was PVPing with isnt gaining any and lost all of the AP I gained on the first week of the campaign.

Hi @Kiira! We have been investigating this since you reported it, and have a follow-up and a question. With the launch of Update 50, we did reset everyone's home Cyrodiil campaign, which effectively removed everyone from the leaderboards. We've confirmed that this applied to everyone, across the board. That said, the AP gain issue is something different. In looking at your DK character on our back-end logs, we do see normal AP gain. Could you please try disabling all your addons? We are wondering if something strange could be going on there.

At some point last night I started gaining AP on leaderboard again. 2 Days after playing the character. I can say 100% you did not reset everyone on the board. When I returned I seen players at 2mil plus, who still have that AP on leaderboard right now. It would have been impossible for them to login directly after the patch and still have 2mil+ ap within minutes, if they had ALL been reset. I still see those people on top of the other leaderboards for DC, and EP.

As stated I am now randomly gaining AP on my DK character. However, her name is still bugged on the board (Shows a previously changed character name instead of my actual character name). If the leaderboards were intentionally reset, I urge you to go and look at the top players on the other factions again. There should have been absolutely no one on the boards with 2+ mil if they were reset. (It's possible this is some type of UI error I suppose?)

My addons are currently all disabled as you have asked, for the time being. My next question would be, if the leaderboards were intentionally reset why was a new campaign not rolled out? Why would we just strip everyone of their AP for the first 8 days of the campaign? I have no desire to go and regain that AP for this campaign to get back to gold rewards.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom is there some way you could notify players when they enter Cyrodiil if their home campaign has been reset? Every time this happens I play for a whole day and then when I log in later I notice it, so I have lost AP.

Hopefully this stops now that they aren't turning Vengeance off and on again, but yeah, it's been pretty annoying to need to rehome every time they gave us back the campaign we actually want to play in.

It's not we weren't aware of change in cyrodil like 3 months in advance that they will change campaigns.So it was obvious the campaign leaderboard might reset. I know the pain but there is 18 days to go on the campaign you can still gain AP and grind but sadly wont be uptop like before the campaign reset. But you should be fine. There is more campaignsto come.There is 0 sense to roll out a whole leaderboard for 2-3-4-5 angry pvpers. Its not cool but we have to move on it's 18 days left.

I'm sorry, but no. That isn't good enough. No one is "being angry." Also, I have played for a very long time and never have I just had everything reset without the whole campaign resetting and us at least getting rewards for what was accomplished. I appreciate the TLDR on how I should feel about this, though. Thank you.

I'm wondering if those folks still high on the leaderboard are doing some exploiting or friend farming at keeps.

Not trying to be rude, I'm genuinely curious here, what exactly are you unhappy that you are missing out on? Cyrodiil rewards are so lackluster, were you maybe pushing for emp?
