Cannot see new Difficulty setting in gamepad mode

I usually play ESO on my Steam Deck, which means by definition that I play in gamepad mode. When I got the new update, I went into the "Character" menu option, to see if I reproed the reported issue of characters being set to Master difficulty.

I did not, however, have any obvious way at all to change Difficulty settings. I didn't even see anything showing me what my Difficulty setting actually was.

I have a Bluetooth keyboard I regularly use for my Deck, so I broke that out and temporarily left gamepad mode. That let me confirm that as far as the non-gamepad UI was concerned, I was at Adventurer level difficulty. But I'm concerned that I didn't see any sign of a Difficulty setting in gamepad mode.

The obvious answer is probably one of my addons interfering with it. I've already tried disabling the obvious addons intended for gamepad mode (I have several of IsJusta's ones installed). None of those seemed to be the culprit, though.

So before I try disabling every single addon I have, can anyone who a) plays in gamepad mode and b) is not currently using addons at all confirm if you're seeing a Difficulty setting? Just want to confirm if I do in fact need to go through the process of elimination and see which of my addons might be the problem.

(P.S. I'm using the PC build on the Deck, so it's also absolutely possible that Proton might be doing something stupid. My ESO install is not currently locked to a specific Proton version.

But before I go down _that_ rabbit hole, I want to eliminate the question of whether any of my current addons are the problem first.)

Followup to my own problem, I now have a solution, FYI to all who may also need to know: the culprit appears to be Lui Extended. I saw in another thread that that mod was spamming chat with Difficulty settings changes. So since it was known to be causing another problem, decided to test that for my problem too.

Answer: yep, now I see the difficulty setting as expected. So those of us using Lui Extended will want to stand by for further updates.

When I'm in gamepad mode on the PC, I see the difficulty dropdown. I use one addon - the one that autoclaims tome points, so I doubt that has anything to do with it.

Also FYI for anyone following this thread:

I saw Lui Extended just dropped an update 7.2.4.1 to fix the chat spamming issue, but that does NOT appear to have fixed my problem. I'll go report in on the addon's esoui.com page.

And, Lui Extended just dropped version 7.2.4.2, which I can confirm has fixed the bug for me. So if any other gamepad players use Lui Extended, make sure you're on 7.2.4.2.
