I remember the days of 8 hour extensions.
An hour seems like nothing.

It’s likely the Hamsters are just taking a little longer to build up speed and get the servers running
Either that, or the person who told Kevin they flicked the On switch accidentally flicked the Off switch again

Good times indeed!tom6143346 wrote: »Maybe they want just set a new downtime record who knows 🤷🏻♂️😂
When WoW released Patch 2.4 the downtime was measured in days, not hours.
When Burning Crusade was launched it burned down the servers. I was there. It was hilarious.

@ZOS_Kevin Just wanna know... will the server be back online before Christmas, or should we bring back that thread where people send gifts to each other while waiting?
People complain because it is 2026 not 1996 and most online services have little to no regular downtime (that the user sees) and that includes some games, even some MMORPGs (GW2, OSR, etc).
That's because users are moved to another server then moved back again. It might be 2026 but reducing costs is still the same animal it was in 1996. By all means feel free to petition Microsoft to reduce their profits or offer to fund it yourself.

no ps na
Xbox NA still down
And that was the "updates will now be released at the same time for PC and consoles" 😉
Consoles now have a 4 hour delay in maintenance.
