man I been whining this here for years I swear
they have no pvp-players on devs team
they don't play the game
they don't know what to do how to change meta, how to balance things
99999 sets and yet somehow you can only use 4-5 same with everything else
we played pvp in 2021-2023 and it was 1000 times better than now
at least I had a little bit of fun this weekend playing 3 sided BGs
They don't need PVP players on the dev team. They just need to care about and listen to the feedback from PVP players. Let's be honest though having all whips in BGs is more fun than solo queing against literal ball groups.
Se already have a counter to ball groups and its called PULL builds.
The problem is EVERYONE CAN HEAL TO THE MOON WITH INCREASED DAMAGE STACKING WHICH MAKES ZERO SENSE.
I've said it a bajillion times REMOVE DAMAGE FROM HEAL SCALING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then your """""""""DPS"""""""""" builds can't cross heal each other and avoid death by breaking the Holy Trinity of DPS/Heal/Tank.
if your """""DPS""" build out heals a full specced "heal" build there is a problem.
This would be a horrible change and make proper small scale pvp impossible.

Well no, because the entire meta would shift. Small scale would still be possible with coordination and a true healer build in the group. 1vX would probably suffer the most, but since everyone's healing would go down across the board, it's hard to say where the meta would end up. I'm surprised they never ran a test for this with all the different tests on AoE and Cast Times they ran a while back.

Your logic makes sense for PVE. But in PVP, most of us would like to be at least mostly self-sufficient. As someone mentioned, the “trinity” concept is outdated. This isn't EverQuest, and trying to push the need for dedicated healers will only serve to alienate solo DPS players further.

In correct. Solo DPS players should be a serious threat to other players due to their crazy burst combo.
They utilize timing, positioning, etc to achieve kills.
That is not the current state of PVP in ESO. Instead we see ultra mega GOD builds (aka broken combos of gear/CP/passives) that create annoying youtube streamer content farming players.
You know, the ones that will tank a 24 man army alpha striking them in an open field. They drop health to within execute range, but GOTCHYA, they have +2000000000000% run speed and insta purge CP TEE HEE LOL run away LOS reset the fight, build ult, turn around DELETE DELETE DELETE DELETE, repeat.
its absolutely ridiculous. No one finds that gameplay fun or enjoyable among the 24 man group.
And don't start with "skill". My group has watched annoying GreyHost 1vX content farmers go to a BG and die instantly.

Vengeance is not the answer. Vengeance is skill welfare that lowers the skill ceiling so low and removes build creativity from the equation.
