[Trading] Feedback Requested on Guild Sales History, Trading, and Guild Metrics

I recently started a discussion in the Game Systems section regarding guild sales history, trading behavior, guild metrics, pricing, and how players actually use sales data.

I posted it in Game Systems because that seemed like the most appropriate category. However, I realize many players primarily read General Discussion and may never see it there.

Rather than split the discussion across multiple threads, I would appreciate any feedback being posted in the original topic below so all responses remain in one place.

Trading: How Do You Use Guild Sales History?

I'm interested in hearing from traders, guild members, officers, guild masters, addon users, and anyone who interacts with guild sales history, pricing, market trends, or guild management tools.

Whether you only care about current prices, track your weekly sales, manage a trading guild, or maintain your own personal Library of Congress of sales history, I'd appreciate your feedback.

The prices and value of things change so much, I dont find it to be of much use viewing someone's sales history. In trading Guilds that require dues, its an easy way to spot alts or people who aren't paying or are only there to abuse the trader.

@Zos I would like to see Zos themselves make an in game price checker. Not like the 6 broken addons or however many its been now that didn't work and were a problem.

Managing a trading Guild is a nightmare for a lot of reasons. Inventory space such as having a separate Guild Bank for Auction items would be a great addition. People should not have to give up a Guild Slot or have an alt because of this. Improvements to the Guild System like setting automatic dues for ranks and things like that would be helpful. Also buttons in the Guild system people can click on to donate materials the Guild is asking for. Changes like that.

@Zos Id really love for us to just go to a World Trader. And have them in the capital cities so we dont have to keep scraping money together every week for a trader. And also so smaller Guilds can actually compete against trading Guilds that are comprised of 7 Guilds and own the same trader every week of the year in the same and in some cases multiple locations.

All of the Guilds that made billions on the out of control farming bots still have the gold. Though I am pleased to see they've been cracking down on bots. There is a lot more to it but these are some if the big issues with trading. I will elaborate on it more moving forward.

    Thank you for the feedback.

It sounds like improvements to guild management tools would be more useful to you than additional sales history features.

As for a global trader system, I can say with a very high degree of confidence that it is not something I would ever expect to see happen in ESO. That would fundamentally change the game's trading system.
