The Adventure Tome is a collaborative memory book intended as a gift for the ZOS team, capturing the experiences and togetherness centered around ESO. The planned contents include:
  • Photos and Impressions: A collection of in-game screenshots or impressions from the ESO Tavern by community members. Please note the following regarding Tavern photos:
    • Photos of yourself, as long as no other people are visible.
    • Pictures of the ESO Tavern that do not show any people.
    • Important: No private data, no name tags, no IDs, no sensitive information.
  • Tales: Personal experiences and stories of exciting adventures as well as special moments created while playing together.
  • Community: Signatures of all participants (e.g., from the ESO Tavern or sent via email as an image) for a personal touch.

Please observe the following for your contributions:
  • Do not take photos of your screen (use screenshots).
  • Do not send sexual, offensive, violence-glorifying, or private content.
  • Hide the in-game user interface (UI).
  • Each participant may submit a maximum of one DIN-A4 page (font size 14) for their written story.
  • Even if you can send your content via Discord, please use email instead, as this better preserves the quality.
  • This project is meant to create beautiful memories and set a positive tone. Therefore, do not use this platform to vent frustration or present your own game ideas.

If your content violates the aforementioned conditions, we reserve the right to reject your submission.

This project thrives on community contributions and aims to show how much ESO brings people together. Your support is needed! Please share this with your friends, guilds, communities, or even ESO content creators you know. (Yes, we have already contacted some from the Stream Team, and no, this project is not a scam! We are trying to reach everyone from the Stream Team via email or Discord by May 1st.) Feel free to send your contributions or questions to Email: esofam.project@outlook.com, especially if you need help with your entries. You can submit your contributions until June 8th; submissions after this date will not be considered. The gift will be handed over on Saturday at the ESO Tavern.

    Hey adventurers,

The Tome urgently needs your support! The project currently looks quite bleak and we are looking for any support for it. To make it easier for many, it is enough to just send in pictures. The more the better. Feel free to send us your photo collection of ESO too :).

However, it still applies that we accept pictures from artists, cosplayers and more, provided they have to do with ESO and we get your permission to use them.

Be sure to share this with all your friends, guilds etc. And if you still have stories to tell, all the better. This project is truly a passion project close to my heart and I would really appreciate the support of the #esofam .

    Let's move something big :)<3

By all means if those who do wish to participate can, wonderful. But I think you'll get better mileage from your own friend groups/guilds than making a... Marketing call... on the forums.

I think a record of our RP and Gameplay adventures is important. I will see what I can find.

This is a really lovely idea, and I like that it is focused on memories rather than feedback or requests.

ZOS gets plenty of criticism and wishlists already, so a community-made tome that simply shows what ESO has meant to people feels like a good change of pace. Screenshots, RP moments, housing projects, first clears, PvP memories, guild events, friendships, and small personal stories all seem like the sort of thing that would make this feel genuine.

I do think the easier the submission format is, the better. A lot of players may not write a full page, but they might send a favorite screenshot with a few sentences about why that moment mattered. A simple template could help:

    Character name optional
    Platform/server optional
    Screenshot or artwork
    One short memory
Permission to include it in the project

Sharing this through guild Discords, RP groups, housing communities, trial groups, PvP communities, and content creators will probably get more traction than the forum alone.

I hope it comes together. ESO’s community can be messy like any MMO community, but projects like this are a good reminder that a lot of people are still here because the game gave them real memories with real people.
