... Why did the Dark Elf roll up to the photo shoot with human eyes? And where is she looking? It just doesn't look right.

Might be a bosmer with the darkest eye color and the lighting of the area playing tricks

No idea of the reason, the details implied, but if you ask me that's the most attractive Dunmer I've ever seen.
Instantly thought: I should make a character like that! Now I want to know if it is possible at all...

I think it's just the reflection of the light making her sclera look white.

Maybe its an up-and-coming eye replacement facial marking? Would be cool to have one like that. Especially since her leg situation seems unique too.

It's the all-maker style, he's looking to his right (our left).

Dark Elves can have non-red eyes. Morrowind has some, as did getting Vampirism in Skyrim, not to mention non-red is available in ESO character creation.

I know, but these don't even look like Dark Elven eyes at all - that's the point I was making.

Maybe she’s wearing “Hide Legs”. 😀

Mer and Men have the same eye model in-game. It's only the basic colourings that are in different. Mer are typically slightly narrower, but give she has a look of surprise/shock on her face it's her mid that.

Elven eyes have irises that extend out to the edges of their eyes, that elf has human eyes for sure.

But elves do have white sclera in game. They just have very large irises, so you don't usually see them unless they're really looking to the side, as this one is.

Also, not for nothing, but mixing of mer and men are a thing in lore. Bretons being an example of it on a mass scale.

Notes on Racial Phylogeny: After much analysis of living specimens, the Council long ago determined that all "races" of elves and humans may mate with each other and bear fertile offspring. Generally the offspring bear the racial traits of the mother, though some traces of the father's race may also be present.

This thread reminds me of dogs doing “whale eye”. Just because dogs’ eyes look to be one solid color when they’re looking straight, doesn’t mean they don’t have a visible sclera when looking to the side. Same principle here.

You can see the whites of her eyes on both sides, I still maintain those are human eyes. The irises are too small for elven eyes.
