Night Market Duration Extension?

I dunno about you guys, but I did not have the time or energy to no-life the Night Market, and now with all these issues arising and how much of a grind it is just to play the trial and dungeons... I'd honestly like an extension. I'll have a lot more fun with it once Update 50 drops and I can go through it as werewolf or with class masteries to boot. We'll get about 9-10 days of that but I think with the issues and activity being so low, it needs an extension so people can finish getting their rooms and desired favor when Update 50 drops and makes other playstyles more viable.

Honestly it already feels like dragging on to much. I wonder how they want to get people to play it the second time, if there is nothing new.

I presume (AKA I sure friggen hope so) that they're offer new rewards per rotation. Hopefully not insulting base game overland sets next time

I really hope they will add something new. NM has good potential as a dynamic event.

It's already dragging on a bit, and interest is waning (meaning it's then harder to get groups for things now that it's not the new shiny anymore). I completely see why they intend the Market to be seasonal instead of being permanent.

I expect the Mastery passives will give the Market a bit of a boost for the last week of the event, but keeping it open will just keep making it less and less appealing over time.

I haven't done the dungeons or trial. I got to 10k and made some coin selling Ruckus fragments. If they extend it, fine, but I'm pretty much done with it.

They need to remove the gate of getting the keys every time you wanna play the dungeon or trial.

It should be once unlocked you're good for the duration of the event

i would not mind an extension, but Zeal of Zenithar starts a week after Night Market leaves so i doubt it will happen.

It's still got a bit over 3 weeks to go. Simple casual play could have completed it by this time easily. Taking another 3 weeks to squeak out a last second finish would be really slow playing it.

I feel the duration has already been generous, and to keep interest the event should stay limited. If anything it feels a bit long.

i think the grinding wouldnt be to bad bad if amount of favor you got was increased from all sources by 10-15 per thing

Only if they scaled it down (but not the dungeons and trials) otherwise whether it is up or not there probably wouldn't be enough people participating to make it worth doing.

For people who got their progress reset, they need a box that awards the favor, and to give those players the boxes so that they can get the stuff they might miss.

Yeah I was on earlier today (PC NA) and there was nothing. Just a group for the dungeon, a group for the trial, and some group for some other thing IDK but they demanded no Oaken in the title. Not sure what their problem was.

To get the achievements, relics, dungeons and trial takes less than 6 hours. You need to do some again if you want all the achievements and collectibles, so about 12 hours total. We've been given 1,176 hours to do it in.

Did you try creating your own? A full 12 man for farming Brazens or Argents fills in less than 3 minutes even off-peak.

I'm enjoying the event more than I thought I would, both when running around with other players killing enemies and doing the district dailies solo. It can be frustrating at times, as well as challenging, but overall it's been fun.

I haven't even joined a group to run the four dungeons and the trial, but I guess I'll try to do that before the event ends, since it is apparently the only way to get the monster heads.

But I'm undecided about how to answer the poll.

On the one hand, I might enjoy running around the districts for an extra week or two, and having a little more time to try to do the dungeons and trial.

But on the other hand, it will be nice when the event ends and I can get back to focusing on other things in the game.

I voted yes but specifically for one of the reasons you ( @coop500 ) mentioned - U50 changes going live June 8. For me, NM’s current existence is solely for the final grind of OO Trial achievements and the supporting Argent / Gilded Dungeon bossing activities (aka grind I hope gets revamped in NM v2.0). Once U50 hits, new changes to game and DK would take attention away from NM so having a bit more time flexibility to try NM through the U50 lens could be interesting, probably 2 week / weekend’s worth is sufficient, any more would be unnecessary.

I also lost all 24K of Favor due to the bug so a bit more time to re-earn them would be one of many solutions.

Extensions are very very rare though, so this feedback is for NM2.0. Sigh.

got the house rooms bank 10000 favor on both NA and EU
i dont care of the trial (i am a solo player ) but i like the group in NM
get in the group do the job and leave amazing
but now i got a burn out of the whole NM , back to normal game play

There are too many bugs in the current iteration, and this is why I vote no. I'm not sure about other districts, but Parch is just crazy bugged: I spent a lot of time running through it while attempting Festering Timelines, and the sheer number of bugs is simply mind-blowing. Unstable Creatia race (this bug is convenient as it saves some time rebuffing, but still), the duneripper corpse blocking a passage and highlighted in yellow while I didn't attempt fighting it at all, hitting a sudden invisible wall, desync in the timeless dungeon and beyond, to name a few.

I prefer for it to close as planned, so all those bugs can be fixed before reopening.

I think the great experiment has gone on long enough.

I'm already seeing fewer groups in the finder, less activity even at the weekend, and a lack of desire for guild members to venture there. After 10k favour, there's little point anyway.

My opinion is that Night Market in its current format is regressive for ESO - it certainly doesn't move the game forward.

they remain incomplete until you complete them.
The Night Market returns in Season 2 and probably every other Season after so 4,6,8 and so on.

Finally got two group finder trial groups that could complete the trial within the last week. I could run it one more time for the Affinity achievement but I won’t unless I find a guild that is organizing runs in the NM. I’m tired of pugging.

I hated to miss the three team BGs weekend but with the time limited content I was in the NM every day. Glad to get back to Gray Host.

I'm ready for a faction reset, then more. I'm missing the festering timelines and no death, but do not really care about those.

I would have liked to see the loot tables varied more though. It feels like it has been a set drop spread this whole time.

I voted other. I do feel the event should remain limited. But the bug/glitch that is deleting players' favor needs to be addressed ASAP. And it needs to be addressed with more than a measly 5 potions that is given only after submitting a ticket. Oh, and fix group finder.

We most likely will not extend the event, but it is slated to come back later this year for another run. With some improvements based on player feedback.
