Tome Points - What to use them for when already gotten all you want?

I have researched all on every toon almost, all riding skills done, all companions done no need of crappy potions as I make better myself , my question is what to do with all the other poinst ?

I would just look at them. Watching their curvy numbers while waiting in a queue or chilling around is so enjoyable.

Enjoy them until they disappear at the start of the new Tome... only 2K can make the journey with you.

I haven't even bothered with grinding out tome points. I renewed my ESO+ for 12 months and opened 10 tome caches, giving me 20k points. I then used the tokens to buy the premium+bonus and got more points. I bought everything I wanted and might bother with this thing if I renew again in a year. I have 4k in caches and will get 2k more carryover. Will see if I want anything next season.

At this point, you're just waiting out the rest of the season. The Tome will automatically buy anything that is not a consumable, keep 2000 for carryover, and then convert what remains into a gold value.

At this point, you're just waiting out the rest of the season. The Tome will automatically buy anything that is not a consumable, keep 2000 for carryover, and then convert what remains into a gold value.

“The auto-claimer skips over rewards that are an item type. These include rewards such as Crown Lethal Poisons, Adventuring Supply Packs, and Upgrade Kits. This also extends to rewards that are a "bundle" of items, such as the Furnishing Pack: Dawn and Dusk on page 4 of the Tome of Dawn and Dusk.”

The packs, mats, and furnishings will get skipped by the autoclaimer too.

It's insane that we can't opt out of the autoclaimer. If I don't want an item, I actually don't want it. I don't really know how to make this more clear.

I'm tired of cluttered collectible and outfit menus. I don't want collectibles I'll never use. I think the autoclaimer is a disincentive to earn tome points. Extra TP to gold would've been good enough for me.

assuming none of your pts are used up on the autoclaimer, then the rest just will get converted to gold at a rate of (<amount you have> -2000 ) * 10

i really wish they just let you choose a currency you could cash out to, and no autoclaimer

i really dont understand why they treated the tome pts like a freaking currency instead of just like an xp meter like most other games battlepasses that let you just claim rewards you wanted and anything you didnt claim goes to the ether

They need to make Consumables able to be purchased repeatedly. Whether that's all of them in the whole Tome or just the stuff on the Bonus Pages, just give us some way of continuously spending Points.

The amount of Gold you get for any Points not spent via the autoclaimer and after the 2k rollover isn't worth any effort to actively do Challenges. You have 5k Points left? Great have 50k Gold.

And yes, there needs to be a way to opt out of the autoclaimer (idr if there is one or not, haven't been on the PTS in a few weeks now). I didn't want the Style Pages but I bought them anyway since even if I didn't, the autoclaimer would have done it. What's the point of giving us the choice to claim something or not if it's just going to be shoved upon us either way?

You just know if they did that, then the day after the next season started there would be 15 threads here going "OMG [snip] ZOS I LOST ALL MY POINTS AND I FORGOT TO CLAIM THE REWARDS!?!?!?!?!?!?!"

I'm glad they didn't because it's good for people who miss out on things due to stuff like medical emergency. They just need to let people turn the points directly to coin themselves without claiming any items for those that don't want and then we'll have one of the more player friendly passes in the industry
