Wow, the Templar is my favorite class and for me its the one that does the highest damage and less work. Then again, I'm not doing Vet dungeons or trials. I must not be playing right. lol, which wouldn't surprise me.
I know I'm biased towards Templars, but they really do need a little love.
Personally I think it would be interesting to (this might be a hot take) see Adric spear dropped as their main dps line, Dawn's Wrath reworked into an actual dps line, a new tank line created, and Spears be added as a new weapon skill line.

Overkill. Templar's problems are not that severe.
DPS needs higher damage numbers and a better sustain mechanic.
Healers need a better group wide HoT now that fights are less static and a unqiue and wanted group buff.
Tanks need a unqiue and wanted group buff.
And then all of that and existing skills needs better balancing in PvP.
At present, the class does all roles at a suitable level for the content, what it lacks is a level deemed suitable by end-game players to allow it to compete for slots.

Dawns Wrath is the coolest skill line in the game by a mile.

It's my favorite one in concept. I just wish it was more practically useful. Most the people who choose it (myself included) do so almost exclusively for one skill. (Execute) At the least, all the other skills need some love.

Already retired mine when they failed to replace the jabs animation. Just doesn't feel the same, no one from ZOS has listened or acknowledged not just mine but anyone's feedback on this and so my Templar has been moth balled. I see no reason to delete anything but maybe one day ZOS will decide to fix things, which I really hope they would do that.
