The new house (Night's Den) doesn't hold a candle to the Hall of the Lunar Champion

If you can indeed access the guild banker there as I have heard (I haven’t tried) then it might make a good guild house.

I like Night's Den... it's free and it came completely furnished, has beautiful rugs, all I needed to do was add my Banker and Merchant and a music box.

It gives quick access to Starlit Plaza which is great. I may or may not be motivated to open up the three additional wings... we'll have to see about that.

Free houses, what's not to like?

However both houses are rather dark and gloomy, not places I would choose to live in.

I tried, very hard to like the Hall of the Lunar Champion (as it did take some effort to open up the wings) but the huge disco ceiling light ball still has me gnashing my teeth. I wish that I could somehow reset it to the original settings, undoing all my changes and just keep it as a curiosity. Perhaps this is a setting that can be triggered? To reset a house to its original config?

I will definitely not make this mistake again, i.e. decorating a house that is not to my liking. The Night's Den is very beautiful , but small, after I put a Beacon of Lights Zero in each of the two initial rooms to see what's there. There's no way I'm going to grind to open those tiny extra rooms.

What I didn't like about the Hall is the teleporting to areas that dont' really feel like they connect together in any sensible way.

I kind of like the little house, but it would have been more convenient for it to be it's own home rather than teleporting into a tomb and then having to teleport again. It feels very disjointed for RP and as a concept to me.

Beautiful! What did you use for your walls? My non-existant interior decorator skills may need to cop...borrow this idea.

Thanks, happy that you like it! The walls are: Necrom Ceiling, Domed. You badly recognize them when checking the preview of the structural furnishings because you only see the upper side which looks like an ordinary platform.

I love Lunar Champ's full sized wings and was hoping Night Den would be similar, with wings that reflected the districts.
I don't mind that it's not though, since I see it more as a free reward house for everyone to celebrate the event.
You even get a ton of furnishings (some of which are typically crown only).

So everyone gets the house, and you're not missing out if you don't want to grind the event, since the wings seriously don't add that much to the home.

You literally just walk into the zone and talk to people for 5 mins, get a free house. Can't beat that. LOL.
(also, make sure to get it on both servers, cause... free, minimal work)

So it's a decent home when viewed that way.

i am not celebrating the event or doing the event at all and i dont want the house. the entire premise of the night market is revolting and disgusting

It’s not my video. He is outside the Hall in a private instance of Southern Elsweyr. It is recognizable though there is only flat terrain and a few buildings.

Just wanted to share my work in progress den. Turning mine into a Khajiiti temple-themed Den. I'm very out of shimmering sand and the pain is real, but some initial concepts. Don't ask how much I've spent on crown-only cat statues...

Very nice! I love those Khajiit Lion Crest flaming sconces, they look great and light up the rooms well without having to use dozens of different lights.

The Night's Den has its charms, but I agree it could have been better. I appreciate that it was already well furnished at the outset, and the bank vault feature is a nice touch.

To be honest, without the house I wouldn't have gone anywhere near the Night Market, which I consider to be absolutely a step in the wrong direction.

I haven't done anything with mine yet. I just don't have any ideas for it at all. Since I have not stepped foot into the Night Market and don't intend to I won't be opening the other 3 rooms.

Maybe I'll remove some of the rugs and tables and put some statues around but I doubt I will do much else with it.
