How to complete main quest for my faction in Night Market

How are we supposed to complete the Golden Pursuit task of "complete the main quest for your chosen faction" in the night market when the crown store doesn't offer an option to pick up the quest and the curator in the night market isn't offering it either?

How can we complete a quest when we can't even start it?

Have you tried going to the portal inside Fargrave? I believe the Curator is there and gives quest before you even enter Night Market. Then go through portal to Night Market once you have quest.

Have you tried going to the portal inside Fargrave? I believe the Curator is there and gives quest before you even enter Night Market. Then go through portal to Night Market once you have quest.

I know for sure the curator that is in the night market isn't offering the quest. Where is the curator outside the night market? I saw a post saying west of the wayshrine, but there is nothing there. Only curator I can find is in the night market by the tunnel that leads to the house.

You have two steps to complete. The first is to follow up on the Curator's task, which is to speak to the faction leaders. The second is to join a faction. Once you have joined a faction, speak to your faction leader and they will give you the faction's main quest. The name differs, but the quest basically sends you into each of the districts to do something. Once you've done all three districts, report back to your faction leader to complete it.

Side note (and making clear that I'm Eyes and can't do the other two) that each of the tasks can be completed pretty easily. You can do it directly, or one-piece-at-a-time by dying/rezzing and using your ghost-form period to travel to the next bit where you die/rez and repeating until completed. It will cost some gear repairs, but it's pretty quick.

Are you trying to start the quest "Those Who Would Rule'? If so, the Curator outside of the NM is next to the portal to NM in Fargrave: go to Shambles wayshrine, then down the stairs, and then look for the passage in the walls that leads to the NM marker on the map. That passage is easy to run past if you are not paying attention (I know I did the first time).

Also, If this the first character you are trying to do this ques ont? I read that some players tried to do it on the second one and could not.

Thank you for the detailed directions! I couldn't find a portal in the Shambles, either, when I looked for one on the first day of the NM. I'm going to try again later this evening to see if I can find it.

Open your map to Fargrave and you'll see an icon for NM a bit southwest of The Shambles wayshrine. I has a little clock on it. Click it to fast-travel into the Starlit Plaza. Alternatively, just start NM from the Crown Store starter and it will get you to the Curator more directly.

The nearby question mark is the Night's Den, which you get after completing "Those Who Would Rule."

Thank you, but I got into the Night Market via wayshrine on day 1. The problem for me was, I only did that out of frustration, because I had just spent close to 30 minutes running around the Shambles looking for a way to get to the Night Market's icon on the map so I could enter it "naturally" by walking in, rather than just taking a wayshrine there. It's like when a new chapter or DLC used to drop and some players wanted to be able to discover or travel to it "naturally" by taking a boat (Summerset) or walking there on foot (Greymoor, which could be entered on foot via Blackreach). It seems I had just missed the passage over and over again, despite running back and forth looking for a way to reach the icon on foot. Naturally, now I just fast travel to the outside of the free house, or take a wayshrine there-- but on day 1, I thought it would be cool to "discover" it naturally.

If you start from Shambles wayshrine and go toward the nearby set crafting location (Iron Flask set), there is a tiny rock-strewn path up and out of the tunnel before you get to crafting area. In that clearing is portal to Night Market. This is where I found Curator and started quest. You might have to drop any existing Night Market quests and start again.

@ESO_player123, thank you again! I just looked for it and found it pretty quickly this time. I guess the thing that threw me off on day 1 was the fact thst the passageway to the portal is small and slopes upward, just to the right after you enter the larger passageway. I went in that larger passageway many, many times and ran right past the smaller passageway.

Yes, I wandered around for several minutes like everyone else and had to look up how to get to the Night Market online to find out about this narrow passage through the wall.
