Oddities quest/achievement bugged?

My group cleared the spider oddity but it didnt clear the quest for me - do you have to do the oddity yourself to get the quest cleared (meaning you have to activate the plates)?
I have done this oddity several times - myself as well as passively in a group but the achievement never cleared?

✭You have to at least activate one plate during the oddity. Even though sometimes they bug out and do not count for achievement.0 -

✭You have to use the plate at least once and do damage to a spider with it.
It doesn't count if you just stood nearby (even being grouped) or pressed a button for nothing.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I do now 100% think they are bugged - i have done 2 of them spiders and guiding lights, completed them both, quest completed twice, no achievement filled... im a 8/10 oddities in the golden pursuit - no achievement filled1
