Anyone else unable to log out of forums?

There is no gear to select logout from anymore. I can only go to my profile. Been happening since last evening.

None of those icons show after my username, they are just gone.

Correction, they are there but invisible. I think I can maybe log out if I click on the right spot.

You could try clearing the browser cache. If that doesn't work, fully quite your browser and restart it.

I think it’s related to the problems I have seen with the forum’s formatting lately and that others have said they see as well.

The Post Reply button is the entire length of this text window and the Save Draft and Preview buttons are below that at normal size.

The smileys are enormous now too.

Yes, everything seems to be just a bit off. The placement of the post number and time/date also seem to shift around a bit. I'm still getting the full proper gear menu though. Something weird going on, anyway.

Here are the funny buttons and the giant smileys if you can’t see them.

I’m on iPad so I don’t have a way to highlight it, but the gear and other icons should be next to my username at the top of the window.

Try what this poster suggested. Clear the browser cache and see if that helps.

i never log out of the forums and i am always here 100% so I did not notice

but i did notice other broken features like smile faces got huge and the format of post reply being mess up

I just came to the forums this morning and now it's doing it to me, too! The options are there if I click where they should be but otherwise are invisible.

When I want to logout I generally go to the browser's info and delete those tied to "forums.elderscrollsonline". The annoying part is that next time I want to check an article it asks again for my date of birth...

(I see the gear and earlier there seemed to be a forum reset, so maybe it's fixed?)

Thanks for the replies everyone.

Since at least one other person is seeing this, I am feeling more confident it’s not just me. I wasn’t feeling that it was something to do with my device anyway, and deleting the cookies would require some effort to get back as mentioned above. Also, other forums sites are working just fine.

I have a workaround but this really should be fixed.

I missed the first part when I first read it so you confirmed my theory. Are you also using desktop version on your tablet?

You reminded me that the edit icon for already submitted posts has been invisible for a while now.

If you're able to access the mobile site, it might be a good workaround in the meantime.

Good to know that works okay. I generally don’t like the mobile version because it is minimalist in nature. I think the text window wraps around and makes it hard to proofread your posts on the mobile version if I remember correctly. It was something, been a while since I used it.

I’m getting pretty good at knowing where the invisible button is now after logging in and out a few times, lol.

I thought so too because you can’t see the gear to click on, but it is there, just invisible. Go to where it would be and click and you can edit.

I don't understand why I can see the options on my PC but they are invisible on my mobile. I use the desktop site so it looks exactly like it does on my PC. Has anyone found a fix?

I don’t think it is something we can fix, there are just workarounds we can use.

I see the icon and option, but there is no reason I would want to log out.
