Is Update 50 coming June 8th for ALL, or just PC at first?

I am so used to consoles not getting the bigger, quarterly updates until about two weeks after PC, but this time around I really can't see anything saying something like June 22nd or 23rd for consoles. Are we truly getting Update 50 simultaneously across all platforms on June 8th? Because I can't get to that Werewolf refresh experience soon enough.

The Challenge Difficulties opt-in for more XP and Gold sounds interesting, as well! I'm feeling...Master, for it. Vestige seems like the time to defeat each enemy would not make for very efficient gains per minute, when barely putting a scratch on them with many of your attacks, and taking 600% more damage seems like...some fan-made rom hack type stuff, as a challenge version of some older game.

For all. Thankfully the days of console having to wait two weeks are over. What a ridiculous thing that other games seem to have never had an issue with. It lasted way too long, one of the better changes this year.

Ahh, excellent news! Thank you for the response! There will be that limited time area in ESO to start doing stuff in, next week, so that will help kill some of the time of this next month and a half-ish until June 8th. Very good! I was afraid I'd be in for two whole months of waiting.

I think that was part of the point. I'm not a fan of drip feeding, release season content with the season. Don't wait, but regardless I think the intent was to release tomes, let people get used to the concept and the routine. Then release night market and have that last the rest of the season.

Oh don't worry, drip feeding is still here.

Even though U50 will release for everyone simultaneously, the questlines will only open when they feel like it. The TG line will start with Season 1 in July, and then I think there's also a time delay on the annoying idiot questline to start in like August-ish or so.

Hold on, the Thieves Guild questline is not launching until July 2026, and the new Sheogorath story is supposed to launch August 2026? I was under the impression that both would launch with Update 50 on June 8th.

It'd be nice if they said somewhere officially that's easy to find, but for some reason this info always comes from third parties or forum posts. Where are those dates from?

EDIT: NVM, I understand Season One = July = Thieves' Guild, just by the days left in Season Zero. I haven't seen anything about August though, other than Tom's comments. The official articles are totally unclear and don't state any dates. Maybe on purpose, but as said above, I wish it were clearer. E.g. https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-gb/news/post/69713 & https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/691059/pts-patch-notes-v12-0-0

And... why are emojis freaking enormous on the forums now? :/

Granted, that's not confirmed officially yet. The evidence I have for Sheo being delayed by a month from the Season starting is the fact that the Sheo story was held back on PTS - the PTS dropped the TG line right away, but we didn't get the Sheo line to release until Week 2. That smells an awful lot like the fact that the Night Market didn't release day one of Season Zero (the Night Market didn't release the first week on PTS last round), so I'm betting that they're gonna do the same idea here of starting the Sheo line partway through Season 1. It really does seem like the new Season model is "drip-feed content over time instead of releasing everything in the patch all at once."

But yes, it is officially confirmed that neither story will be starting until Season 1 starts in July.

Also as an aside, from PTS images of the Season 1 header, the High Seas event will also be part of Season 1... but that wasn't on PTS yet, which means that's an U51 thing. Based on the logic of Seasons lasting 3 months, that'll put Season 1 to end in early October, when the Q3 patch normally drops in September, so my money's on the High Seas getting the standard September event slot... and with all of that logic of a TG story releasing in July and the High Seas in September, the fact that we have one more story and a whole month in between makes an August release of the Sheo story really logical.

theres been a ton of bad formatting issues on the forum (the spoiler button, the GIANT "post reply" button when making posts, and the absolute broken view when looking at saved drafts of posts thats likely still in pure vanilla forum display lol)
