EPIC account issues. Saw similar post on reddit.

Likely EPIC side issue, but many people unable to log in via EPIC Games account. "Required Credentials Missing". At first I thought it was my account but looks like others having problems. Spent an hour doing all sorts to "fix" it.
According to the EPIC site there's no maintenance or issues though.

I contacted Epic Games support, and after asking me to do all the things I'd already done, like unlinking, relinking accounts, verifying game files and updating the client, they seemed certain that "Bethesda" would know how to fix the issue.

Oh dear. I'm pretty sure that's a case of "No idea mate, ask someone else". Could be a long wait.

Hopefully it's just temporary service maintenance. Just would have been nice if there was info on it somewhere.

Can confirm that I'm experiencing the same problem. Tried it on two separate machines, so it looks like it's a problem at their end.

The problem started today, and I can't log in to any of 5 computers. Epic gives the same error about missing data.

Worst decision I made in my life was buying a game on the Epic game store. I hope Bethesda would consider allowing Epic accounts to be moved to a Bethesda account, even if we are going to pay a fee to compensate the Epic game store.

My Epic account has the same problem.
I tried all the fixes suggested online this morning and nothing worked.
I ended up using my account name and password in the normal game launcher that I have for my ESO account to get logged in today.
To clarify, my Epic account's ESO account name was used, and the ESO account sign in from the ESO website is the account name and password I used.
So whatever you would use to sign into your ESO account on that website, and the password you use to sign in is what I used in the Bethesda launcher.
If you look in your Epic install location, you'll see there are 2 different launchers, one is the Epic launcher (like Steam installs) and there's a Bethesda launcher. Use the Bethesda launcher so you get the Username/Password option after launching the game.

Try launching the game directly from:
Program Files\Epic Games\TheElderScrollsOnline\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client
You'll see an "eso64.exe" application in there, launch that. It will skip the game launcher and put you directly into the login screen of the game.

I tried that and it told me that if I bought the game on Steam or Epic, to use their launchers.

I just successfully logged in using EPIC launcher so hopefully it is fixed now.

At this point maybe I should point out I have 3 accounts one is via epic the other two are direct, currently have two game installs.

Do you actually have an ESO account setup for your Epic account?
Since you said you had 3 accounts, use the regular launcher from your ESO install, and use the user name and password you setup for your Epic account from the Bethesda account website.

I had no issue this morning doing that except having to get a code email sent.

@sshogrin I tried using my Epic credentials on my non epic launcher, it threw up the error message that the details were incorrect and if I purchased the game via steam or epic to launch it via those apps.

Did you guys try logging in normally now? I just played for about 30 mins, regular epic launcher.

Whatever was done, or by whom, much appreciated.
