I hear about it every day on multiple fronts. All of these should be adjustable with Outfit slots. Im in to Eso Fashion as many are. And this topic never seems to go away in the Guilds

    yes please!
i wish for all Appearance collectibles to be saved to my Outfit slots so the game swaps them for me whenever i select another slot.

    edited to add:
    Mounts and Pets too yes.
if we had this i would happily choose a specific Mount and Pet for each Outfit.

for example i have a Maormer Outfit for my main character, a Bosmer.
when i choose collectibles for that slot it is:
    - Reefdweller or Orphan of the Stars skin
    - Viper's Strike hairstyle.
    - Swashbuckler personality.
    - Reefstrider Ornaug mount.
    - Hay-Crown or Fellbraun Chub Loon pet.
    - Azure Sky Blue Lip Tint head marking.

The only reason I can think of why this shouldn't be a feature is because implementing it takes away dev time from more critical features (including saving specific variations of scribed skills to armory slots), but it's something I'd definitely use in a few cases.

on top of that it would be nice to

    a) temporary save certain outfit combinations, maybe 2 or 3 in the outfit station so you can try a couple things without having to constantly redo everything before deciding

    b) being able to put on all weights from one given set (if you select one piece you get something like a "use all of that set" option

    c) hide weapons as well (if you use something like monster slayer personality) - as long as they are not drawn of course

    d) dye mount barding as well, at least the main color

Very much yes. The cosmetics in this game can often be bundled together into all kinds of interesting themes but it's quite clunky to switch outfits, then scroll through endless menus to change skin, mount, etc.

It's not about development time, it's about database size. ZOS always tries do do things in the cheapest way possible so don't expect to see this implemented.

Aren't these armory slots 1500 crowns and don't they already save a whole bunch of IDs per slot (including complex items like gear pieces)? I feel like 4 or 5 extra IDs saved per slot shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Hardly 4-5, you need 1 integer per gear slot if you are going to save the outfit + cosmetics + everything else suggested here. More likely 40-50 per character. Now multiply this to 20-30 million, the supposed number of accounts, again to 10 assuming thats the median number of chars per account, now again to 4, the size of the 32 bit integer, and you will get the ballpark figure of the number of bytes needed in the database.

What do you mean by gear slot? Because these kinds of cosmetics aren't tied to gear slots and you can already save the outfit, which is just a link between the armory slot and the specific outfit slot, it does't really do anything with the individual gear slots (e.g. weapon, head, chest etc.).

Also, these attributes only get saved if someone actually saves it in an armory slot, so not for all 20-30 million existing accounts/characters. An armory slot already uses a reasonable amount of data (skill/champion point allocations, gear, etc.). We're talking about storing one extra item ID per attribute (if used at all).

Also what I'm saying is I'm a customer, armory slots are a premium feature (at least every armor slot over the 2 base slots per character) and I would like it if they were even better, and at least some of the extra costs for ZOS should be covered by the very premium price. Are you a ZOS employee?

No - but I do think it would be good to have a system to allow a preset that can change all cosmetics to a set loadout, which includes your outfit. Personally I don't want to be forced to change everything at once just to swap my clothes.

I have no idea how I have a no vote in the poll. I really don't have an opinion either way on the subject. I don't even recall opening the thread.

Takes no database size if it's a client-side list of items to attempt to equip.

I use an add-on for this currently, but it would be nice to have it built into the game. I might consider buying outfit slots.
