Using the uninstall EXE within Zenimax Online vs deleting it?

Hello!

I originally installed ESO on my C: drive. I eventually had issues because the drive got near capacity so if I remember correctly, I either copied/pasted the Zenimax Online folder onto my "D:" drive or I just installed ESO straight onto "D:" (my memory is flawed! :# )

I kept the Zenimax Online folder on the C: drive as a security blanket, but now I realize I need to get rid of it. Within this folder there is an uninstall folder with the EXE to uninstall ESO...
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\uninstall\Uninstall The Elder Scrolls Online.exe"

1. Will this ONLY uninstall the C: copy of ESO?
2. Is there an advantage to using the EXE versus just deleting the entire Zenimax Online folder?

I'm nervous to delete this but I need the ~100GB back! ;)

Thank you! :)

hey just delete the directory. it should be ok. the worst thing is you'd start the reinstaller on the d drive and at some point it would see it there . not a biggie.

There are so much more hidden that you would be amazed. You have to go offline for security so no one can get into your hidden files but that is where the files are. When I delete software, I go to the Device Manager and disable the Network Adapter then open my hidden files and start deleting.
