In Feb 2024 was this event the Crafter's Celebration for a short time active, in this event we got the following buffs:

- Extra Harvesting Resources
- +100% Inspiration earned
- +100% Writ Vouchers earned from new Writs (this applies to new Writs created during the span of the event. Stored writs from before the event going live DO NOT get modified when the event goes up)
- 50% Trait Transmute cost
- 50% Item Set Recreation cost
- Improved chance to receive boosters from deconstruction

it would be nice to have tis event return. are there more people out there who would like it to return too?

They can't do the double writ vouchers for master writs anymore, because with the new unopened unknown writs to accommodate stackable writs, the actual master writs are created at the time the unknown writ is opened. So that would sidestep the requirement for only master writs acquired during the event receiving the +100% bonus.

Which is likely why the crafter's celebration didn't happen last year, because it was due to occur after the master writs became stackable.

I found the buffs underwhelming, so I even though I enjoy crafting, I don't have any great desire to see the event return. It would have to offer better buffs/rewards. I'd like to see quest givers that want specific items and offer rewards other than writ vouchers. Give me another reason to craft beyond doing master writs.

Zos could alter that thou make it so that those unopened master writs give double Vouchers when opened

That's just it though. It wouldn't be able to enforce the rule that only master writs earned during the event get the bonus. If they did that, then somebody like me who's sitting on nearly 1k unopened master writs would have a field day with it. And there are many other players who likely have a lot more than I do.

That was my thought as well, I think a solution might require a bit more work but to create a separate set of stackable master writ containers, something like "Crafter's blacksmith writ enveloppe" and specifically those open to double voucher rewards. They would take an extra storage space for sure separate from the regular enveloppes but only drop during the specific event

I would rather see the fishing event return. This one had potential but the reconstruction oversight/bug that happened last time + the master writ situation mentioned already kinda throws this event off its wheels.

i geass it will be like that, i have loads of unopened enveloppes myself, this would make more sence.

Well this event could comeback as it, and I maybie have an awful thinking, but previous master writs not only earned during the event could get the bonus.

Read: this event would help finally open our master writs accumated since I don't know, which would be a good thing for a few of us, and we all will be thankful of this event...

If this event doesn't come back though, I am okay with this too, as the X2 events are not real content to me anyway.

    Cheers

This one would like to note that stackable writs create a cheese problem since they're "rolled" when the "unknown" writ is opened. Since this one dearly loves cheese and has a few hundred unopened writs available, the potential melty bliss would be very nice. And it is because of this that he doubts the original Crafter's Celebration will come back in its original form. A solution would be to have stackable "Unknown Crafter Celebration Master Writs" as a wrapper for the cheesy voucher goodness which only drop during the event, but no. He can already hear the complaints about "database loads" and such and will have to console himself with a nice fondue in the meantime.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.
