parch glass splinter from weak enemies

have been trying for 5 hours now and can't seem to get it... the other weak enemy splinters were much easier. is there a bug?

it can take a long time, but it does drop.

i dont know if it was luck but i was able to get all of the trash mob splinters relatively quickly, a couple of them i even got on the 2nd mob i killed in the district

It's probably a coincidence but that's the one I had the most trouble with as well.

I think it dropped for me once before and I missed picking it up. It was when I first started doing the event and I hadn't yet realised most of the enemies don't drop any normal loot so any lootable corpses will be collectible items. I remember seeing a glowing corpse at the back of a mob in the opposite direction from where we were heading, and I assumed I'd loot it when the closer ones died and I looted them, but of course that didn't happen and by then we were moving on, so I missed it.

That fragment ended up being nearly the last one I got from that area (the last one was from one of the argent bosses) and I was trying to look out for it the entire time, which was distracting but I felt like it was necessary having possibly missed it once before.

Bro I am having the same problem so badly right now. Like I must've killed several thousand trash mobs right now and it hasn't dropped once.

Took me a while too. It doesn't help that, during fighting, everywhere is inundated with flashy effects. I had more success when I hung back a little after each fight and then the glow from the relevant trash was easier to see.

Same problem, missing two splinters of weak enemies; got all the rest.
Especially in big groups - and isn't that almost always the case - it can drop on a mob without you having noticed.

yes, i was afraid that this might have happened to me as well. no splinter still, after 2 more hours yesterday night. if i don't get it today i'll open a ticket i guess.

yes, of course, i think some mobs die far behind us running, killed by other group members after we damaged them... wish you good luck!

finally got that patch glass splinter after 1 more hour today from a small winged monster accompanying sellistrix, so total: 8 hours... it shone yellow and stayed there for a long time even after looting it.

that was tough, especially considering that it was uncertain, whether there was a bug, after i had gotten 5 relics on 2 accounts without much hassle.

Thats the last splinter for me too - tried it since Saturday, guess it was at about 15 - 20 hours in the parch. And as it still did not drop thats it for me for now with the night market. I might go there every now and then to help ppl from my guilds but I'm not interested in this stupid farming anymore.

@ZOS_GinaBruno just in case you are not aware of this problem, there might be a bug with this splinter as it seems to be almost impossible that it's not dropping even after killing hundreds of normal mobs in the parch. Maybe I missed it in the beginning to loot one of the enemies, I have no idea. But I can not believe it's just because of the RNG, I suppose there's a problem.

Edit: guess I found the solution - you need to post here, wait some hours and go back for the very last time into the parch. And then it drops xD

Anecdotally, this was the worst of the trash mob splinters for me too. Took at least 4-5 hours.

In my case it was not a weak enemy like an imp or something like this with 200k health, it was a hollow armor duelist with 800k health. So maybe this splinter is dropping with any enemy except named ones.

Yes the purple ones. There are at least 2 different with different names, not sure which one dropped it for me. So don't go just for the imps and so on, go for this knights / duelists / whatever too.

I'd like to bump this thread again and complain...
I've been in Parch almost every day since the event started, I've already killed thousands of “weak enemies” there, and I still haven't gotten the Splinter. It's the only one I'm missing, and I'm really sick of sand walls and sandworms by now. Please, do something about the drop rate!

As some have noted above your post, try going for the bigger enemies like the purple knights. This was actually the first splinter I got, but there was so much going on I have no idea which enemy type it actually came from. I was grouped up at the time as well, which might have helped?
