The new house (Night's Den) doesn't hold a candle to the Hall of the Lunar Champion

As for the house, I think it's cool and furnished well. It's different for sure and will have guild bank access I hear. Definitely a must have.

Years ago we both worked for a charity that provided free advice and services to home owners and to keep it managable we limited the size of properties that qualified. They serve different purposes imo. The Night's Den is much easier to fully decorate within the 700 item limit, and the bank feature is neat. It's relatively small and you don't have to block off huge parts of it. The Elsweyr house has more space for custom builds, but you are essentially forced to choose one of the areas due to furnishing limits.

I love each individual section of the Lunar Champion house, but like others mentioned I think the portal thing is a negative, and is kind of awkward IMO, unless you're making something like a Mages Guild out of the place or something else where portals feel appropriate.

I think I like both the Lunar Champion and the Night's Den equally. They both have things about them that are awkward to work around for me and both have positives. I'm finding using Fargrave structure pieces to fix a bit of the awkward stuff in Night's Den. I was only ever happy with the Lunar Champion when I blocked all the portals off and only used the entrance zone to make a simple khajiiti library.

I enjoyed the Trial a lot. I was farming a lot of Night Market so I was part of many PUGS trying to figure out mechanics, which means I spent way more time doing it than friends who just did it after there were more guides available.

I think I spent about 10 hours on it when people didn't really know anything. My friend took 1.5 hours total when everyone already knew what to do.

So, I was frustrated at first but I felt a lot of accomplishment. I would do more trials moving ahead and figuring out what I am missing as a healer to be more valuable.

As a soloer/rper I was a bit daunted by trials because I didn't want to be the player that caused it to fail, and I know in other games a "bad healer" means the raid fails. But I'm more encouraged now for sure.

I was very disappointed the Night's Den extra rooms where just these small, windowless things with a vague hint of their faction. Would've prefered something a bit more Halls of the Lunar Champion, because unlocking and seeing each wing was fun and exciting. Are they big? Yes, but one doesn't need to use all of them.

The wings of the house may look empty and uninspired, but it gives you a lot of creative space to work with. Here's some WIP on what I'm doing to the glittering goad section. I got 4 identically sized rooms that can be anything I would want them to be. They also have windows which were cheap to obtain and match the style of the house.

The house is Awesome! The layout is great it comes with a cool concept of a treasure vault and bank. It also came with a tone of furnishings.

I and everyone that I play with and speak to like the house.

You and anyone else that thinks otherwise just can't be pleased at all, and are just negative ninnies!

Night den is very unusual house, with fun features, interesting layout and great furniture! Really enjoy by adding some details to main house and remodeling wings,

Literally one of the best houses in the game. It’s got a bank that allows guild bank access. It’s got fast access to a wayshrine. It came furnished. I’ve already moved in!
PS- it has a banner control option that allows you to automatically fly the banners of your faction! I’m not sure how this house could be any better!

My main issue with the hall-of-the-lunar-champion is that its just an square room with portals.
Night den The night den house is more unique with kind of an bank feeling. with the vault door. and the two boots on the side who is a lot like that you find in older banks, you have an kitchen in the rear.

You mention fast access to a wayshrine, but now I wonder--what happens to that fast access when the Night Market is closed? Will we still be able to enter and exit this house through the front door, or does it become an icon on the map that we can only teleport directly to and from?

The answer to that question might actually determine if I make it my primary home.

I love the house and the Night Market. I used the provided furnishings to really theme the faction rooms after their respective factions. The Thousand Eyes are hoarding books and magical items, the Ruckus has a stockpile of weapons taken from fallen enemies, and the Glittering Goad has treasure, naturally.

Maybe, but it is a temple to the Khajiit hero Khunzar-ri and is in no way a house in itself.

Houses don’t typically have portals to three different locations and only one single room.

Yeah. I’m wondering the same thing. I want to use this home so I’m hoping they don’t make access a pain. I really want them to just open up the cave so the Shambles wayshrine is right there. Otherwise this will become like most cool houses and be unusable.
