Nightmarket Instance full

This is getting more and more annoying now, you want people to group up, but time after the time one cannot get to the group because the instance is full.

Yeah the player cap needs to be increased and instances need to be closed once they're emptied so that you don't port into empty ones.

I suspect this is the most popular event they have ever had and their instancing tools weren't prepared for so many doing it at once.

Idk if that is ideal. Sometimes people might want to be in a low pop instance for different reasons. Finding others or full instances is not so difficult anyway.

    I think it’s actually a different problem.

I was in a full instance over the weekend, and it was nowhere near as much fun. Our guild had two groups of ten or so running and we encountered a random group too, so there were about 30+ in the instance. At that point, everything was dying in seconds and the performance was seriously degrading to the point that we all felt we were disconnecting.

36 is fine for the instances, but the problem is that most instances aren’t getting there.
I think it’s a product of standard game logic - in order to prevent server overload, the game wants to spread players evenly across instances. There are just too many Night Market instances open, meaning each one only has a couple players each.
The logic needs to be adjusted to favor full instances and closing extras to keep the appearance of full instances.
After all, many players are seeing full guild rosters in the Market, and then every instance seems deserted.

I understand the desire, but I kinda prefer the current pop cap.

Though admittedly it has a lot to do with repeated frustrations over trying to complete an oddity only to have a dozen or so players run up and start mashing switches like mad resulting in failure.
