I've got all the splinters and obtained the memento for the egg. What else do I need in order to enter the Thousand Eyes Wing? Nothing happens when I examine the relic at the front.

Ah nvm - didn't realise that you receive a mail item

You need to place it on the pedestal.

It'll send you a box of furnishings in the mail. In there is the collectable furnishing, that you can then place on the pedestal using the housing editor.

I made the same mistake all 3 times! I got the memento unlocked and assumed it unlocked the furniture version at the same time, I didn't realise at first it was in the mail with the other stuff.

(Yes I should have remembered for the later ones, but the first time I was just clicking around until I got it working and there were a couple of days between the 2nd and 3rd so I didn't remember the steps I'd taken exactly.)
