My guild chose the red ones. The only useful thing in the whole event is the blue monster set. This says something about the developers already. But that's not what I'm here for. Since the appearance of this event, playing on ps4 has become almost impossible. Any content involving NPC enemies turned into a fight with a shadow and teleportation back through the loading screen. They are simply invisible, they cannot be targeted. Archive, dungeons - everything is broken. It's like *** your own players. Thats it. I rly hope it wont return.

There's your problem.
ESO added support for PS5 a while ago, and games are dropping support for last-gen left and right. There are even posts here about how upgrading from PS4 to PS5 made it feel like a whole new game.
Oh, and as for "how about optimization?"
They did that. That was the entire animation pass they did last year was to optimize the game. But 1) that broke a lot of things, and 2) there's only so much optimization that will get this game to run on a console with 8GB RAM, especially if half of that RAM is used for the console OS in the first place.
PS4 is now 12 years old. PS5 is now 6 years old. Most console lifetimes are around 8 years, so yes, PS5 is soon going to be obsolete.
At this point, it needs to be understood that PS4/XB1/Old PCs are no longer able to handle a game in 2026.
