Are Tamriel Tomes really the FIRST thing players see when starting ESO?

I was watching a streamer begin playing ESO, and she seemed really excited to dive in. But then the VERY FIRST thing that popped up on her screen was the Tamriel Tomes tutorial—before she even got into the actual game tutorial...
Wouldn’t it be better to introduce Tamriel Tomes after the tutorial instead? Isn’t it a bit intrusive to jump STRAIGHT into that screen right at the start?
She even says something like, “How do I get out of this interface? Do I press ‘back’? I’m so scared to press back and end up in the character selection screen!”
I mean, the player hasn’t even learned the absolute basics yet, and they’re already being hit with a bunch of paid-content interfaces… doesn’t that feel a bit off?

I’m not talking about that: I’m talking about the player’s very first interaction when opening the game being a battle pass menu instead of the game itself, all while the Prophet is still speaking.
You basically lose that initial interaction with the Prophet because there’s a massive Tamriel Tomes interface in your face right after you create your character. It’s extremely intrusive.
