Does anyone know what that white flap is? I noticed it today. It's not part of my outfit and I am not wearing a guild tabard.

That kinda looks like a texture rendering glitch, where a texture that is supposed to be semi-transparent has displayed as having a solid white background instead. Or the game wasn't able to load the actual texture and defaulted to that instead.

Looks like part of your outfit that is missing a texture. Or it could be an alpha or displacement map around the flap on your outfit that should normally be transparent but isn't. So a bug either way.

It's not part of my outfit. Is shows even if I turn outfit off.

Try removing all of your armor and check if it still persists when you have no clothes on and no outfit on.

If so, you know that it's a character issue that you can report - use the website to submit a ticket, not /bug. If not, that may reset the graphics there.

Doesn't happen on a Nord DK. Perhaps either Khajiit or Arcanist is required for this flap?

Tried to turn off personality on the Arca, but that wasn't it.

If it is still there after doing what Tom suggested check for\disable any body markings, skins, etc you may have enabled.

Yes, it’s the skin. I reported this on I think week 2 PTS actually… any and all flaps and long shirts will have that problem if they didn’t touch the bug at all. I don’t recall what character I was on when I noticed this, so maybe they fixed it but not for all races or maybe they ignored my bug report…

I tried without viridian valor head and body markings, so it wasn't that in combination.

Strange. With khajiit arcanist (subclassed) it does show the flap. With pureclass nord DK it doesn't.

With that in mind, seems like it has to do with the tail mesh/texture/whatever the right terminology would be for this.

Frustrated that I reported this ON PTS EARLY ON USING /BUG AND IT WAS IGNORED…
