Warden refresh the bear ultimate

I think warden should get the ability to fuse with the bear to turn into one for 20 seconds. The ultimate would work similar to the werewolf rampage mechanic.
On activation your health is increased by 10,000 , speed increased by 20%, and damage taken is reduced by 20%.
Each time you deal direct damage to an enemy you lacerate them with your claws dealing bleed damage over a 4 to 6 second duration, the damage increases by 20% every 2 seconds.

No. Nobody would use it, except for roleplaying reasons.
The problem is that you might get "more damage", but all your other abilities and buffs eventually run out and you're unable to refresh them, which constitutes a serious drop in DPS.

Thats easy to fix.
1. All active buffs have timers paused
2. Upon activation, gain major and minor buffs

There are ways to make it work, and i think it would get a lot of use.

Leave my bear alone.

EDIT: I'll elaborate - I have the Bear as my ultimate ON ALL my characters through subclassing. Why? Because I never activate ultimate. I don't want to activate the ultimate ability, I want it to be passive. The bear is the only permanent passive ultimate. Don't change it.

Sounds like what you really want is a Werebear, not a bear summon/ultimate. IMO, the werebear should be a variation of Werewolf that you can select as a morph of skills, with its own abilities catered towards a more tanky Werewolf style.

The bear is one of my favorite abilities. I just think the ulimate ability of the bear is underwhelming and thought it would be cool to fuse with your guardian and it fits the animal companion line. I think this could open the door to guardian skins like a sench tiger.

Im not saying change it, im saying add an optional ultimate ability to the skill to turn into one for by fusing with your companion. After the 20s duration you would turn back human and your companion would auto spawn. Nothing about the companion would change and the fusion would 100% be optional.

I don't think that would work well with the Warden's Animal Companion passive abilities all that well. While it is a fun idea, lycanthropy/ursanthropy IS a thing in Elder Scrolls, and this would be better suited to work as its own skill line. This also sounds like a tanking suggestion, and frankly your suggestion would be better suited for Necromancer's Bone Goliath transformation, though honestly a 20% DR would be an insane increase to DR considering how high you can get it. Armor and Spell Resist alone cap out at a whopping 50%, add onto that another 15% from Major and Minor Buffs and other sources that can add onto that and you start hitting ridiculous numbers.

I like the Bear and my Warden in their intended original designs and I wouldn't want that changed. It could be an opportunity for a new alternative to Werewolf/Vampire though.

Nothing would change. You still get your companion, this would be an added option to the bear.
