Combat Mat back in Crown Store - Please FIX IT FIRST

I see the Combat Training Bundle returns to the Crown Store on May 14th. I got the bundle the last time it was available and I feel it's important to make people aware of a crucial issue with the mats: any AOEs you place will go right through the mat. I don't know if this is intended or if it's a bug, but I've reported it as a bug before, as have others, but it's still not fixed. The fact that AOEs won't stick on the mats makes it necessary for you to place them on solid ground, which can be an issue when there's so few completely flat surfaces of that size in our houses.

Demanding 5000 crowns for items that have such a crucial flaw in them is outrageous if you ask me, so please fix it before it comes back in the crown store!

This is the same as with dummies.

They have to be placed on the 'native' (lacking a better word) collision of the house; if you place the dummy on a player placed furnishing ground AoEs will clip through and blink/teleport/charge attacks will cause the character to clip through the collision as well.

The only house I have found suitable for this furnishing is the coldharbour surreal state.

A fix has been requested many times over the years but this - as far as I know - has not even been acknowledged.

Whether this is due to technical complexity, lack of resources or because a fix could potentially enable unwanted behaviour during actual combat that I don't know.

This isn't an issue with the battle platform, it's an issue for all furnishings. It's probably accounting for the fact that furnishings are moveable, because these skills work on the "fixed" ground of a house.

It's why dueling areas always need to be on the "fixed" ground of a house without walls for players to get knocked back into and trapped.

I wish it would change, but I think it may not be feasible to be changed.
