I don't even know what the Night Market is supposed to be. I have no concept of what it's supposed to do, or why we need to choose factions, or what we get it for doing it.

Night Market is a hardcore PvE area, think vet trial difficulty level, and the factions are mostly cosmetic but are also artificial stretching it out to force players to go through it three times to get all the dyes and cosmetics and the monster sets. But yeah it's basically a weird timed cross between a vet trial and Imperial City, at least in the way of having three factions, different districts, and being more difficult. Though this is WAY more difficult than anything found in Imperial City PvE wise.

The factions don't lock you out of playing with others of different factions, but your choice is account bound until the next 'cycle' comes around, perhaps in the winter as I was told before.
    Hoping for more playable races.

I just want werewolf to be viable in endgame PvE T.T (which not allowed according to PTS update 50)

I was able to complete the GP in an hour. I only wanted the first 8 points or whatever, since the last two rewards were not my thing.

As for Night Market, I plan on doing at least the intro quests that get me a house. If it launches with a GP and good rewards, I will potentially do that. Beyond that, probably not much more playing. Seems like ZOS wants me to pursue the MVP path on their content rather than making permanent rewarding systems. Happy to follow those incentives.

@coop500 Thanks for the explanation. If it's really vet trial difficulty then it's not for me. I'll get the house and probably stop there.

Same here :( I'm sure JakeClips said on one of his videos that only 20% of players had ever completed a veteran dungeon. If this is vet trial level, I'm sure we won't be the only ones sitting it out...
It's a tradition, or an old charter, or something...

It's some of the hardest stuff I've ever seen and I've done vet HM dungeons, sooo yeah.

They did claim they will make it a little easier, but really stressed that they want to enforce grouping so I don't expect a major difference.

They said the same thing 12 years ago when they introduced Craglorn, and that did not turn out well at all. So much so that they had to greatly decrease the difficulty.

Forcing grouping on players does not make them suddenly discover that they like grouping or very difficult content. It is not an encouragement but rather a deterrant. I can't believe they are actually repeating something that failed so badly before.

Yeah I fought hard about this, but PTS players seemed to think it was fine. So meh, we're stuck with it.
I CAN solo it, but it's not fun, and there's so many design flaws about it that I think will just turn 80% of the player-base away.
