Unlinking from steam

I have been trying to unlink an account from steam, it’s been 48 hours now no response.

Plus I don’t understand why the option to unlink from steam is available if you have to contact support to get it done.

Can someone please look into my situation, please, thanks.

Why is the option to unlink from steam available if it doesn’t work? speaking to support is the only way. Is it a bug or working as intended?

If ZOS customer service is understaffed or something why would this be an intended feature? Seems like unnecessary work for customer service.

Also ZOS needs to improve it’s customer service, it has a reputation of a horrible customer service, 48 hours just to unlink an account is unreasonable.

The false advertisement of giving us an option that doesn’t work (unlink from steam) only way to get it to work is to contact ZOS terrible customer service. Why is the option there? And there’s actually steps to follow but it doesn’t work. It’s designed not to work. Why? That can’t be legal?

Ignoring my emails for 7 total days.

Best way to get a response from a company is to say something completely normal and for security reasons is somehow illegal. /s

My point was providing a feature that is designed not to work seemed scummy, like they ZOS was just doing it to just cover some laws… We have consumer laws, I doubt that would align with them, I was just asking, does it?… it is my money I bought the game, I didn’t break terms… it’s not against the terms to unlink my account

Sorry, I wasn't trying to minimize your complaint or say it isn't valid. I was just saying that threatening legal action usually causes people/companies to clam up

@Attorneyatlawl I get you but I wasn’t threatening legal action, what they are doing is in a grey area at best. If it was up to them (it’s a business) they would just have you keep buying the game many times rather than just unlink. They don’t even tell you after the error that you should contact support, I had to find out myself, that’s why I said it was scummy
