I don't think it's worth it for me. I like the game, but I don't like it that much. Especially since it's a long way from me so I'd have to arrange flights and a hotel and everything on top of the logistics and cost of the event itself.
Admittedly I've never been to one of these (for any game) so maybe I just don't know what I'm missing, but I imagine it's like a very specific convention, mostly ZOS staff talking about the game and loosely related activities that can be done in real-life, plus a bunch of merch and stuff. I think it might be entertaining for 1/2 a day, but I'm not going all the way to Germany for that.

If they ever have an event in the US again maybe I'd go, but really can't just randomly fly to Germany on a workday with less than 3 months' notice even if I was feeling that into it. Hope it's fun for peeps!
No, i am unlikely to go to ESO Tavern.
8-10 hours train travel is frustrating.
hopefully there will be another event in the Netherlands again in the future like in 2024, that 10 year anniversary event was less than an hour travel for me and i am happy i went.

Imagine being a NA player with an actual job so we can't randomly take off midweek for a surprise Vegas event with less than two weeks notice or go to Europe for a big thing.
Knowing how medieval entertainment looks like in Germany (there are about 1000 markets and festivals throughout the year, with masses of artisans, musicians and other entertainers) I bet they can organize a great event. The infrastructure clearly exists. So for people who don't live too far away, it's probably worth it.
