There should be a "Buy with Seals" option

In the crown store under the crown crates section why is there is no "buy with seals" option and "buy with gems" option? Instead they are in two different storefronts. This never really bothered me but now with the introduction of Gold Coast Bazaar it's feeling like there are too many storefronts and it would be nice if they could be consolidated.

Anyone else feel this way?

Yes, especially because this would allow me to for instance buy that mudcrab music box with seals instead of just stuff in the crown crates. However, even if they don't allow that still, its just plain convenient. As it is now its a pain in the guar.

I agree they should consolidate the storefronts.

I suspect the answer is that not everything in the Crown Store is purchasable with Seals, and it's easier to provide a top-level filter than have each item marked internally as to whether you can buy it with seals at all.

There is, of course, a simpler alternative - just make everything purchasable with any of the currencies, a single tabbed storefront, and a currency selector as suggested above.

It's kind of the opposite: none of the crown store items can be bought with seals, they're only for buying stuff from crown crates, which are already all in their own section and can't be bought with crowns, only gems or seals. Which means all the items that can be bought with seals are already seperated out, and already have the functionality to use a different currency from the rest of the store.

Maybe the limitation is the store can't support 2 different currencies in one menu, but it's definitely not a problem with keeping crown crate/seal items seperate from directly purchasable store items, because they already do that.

We definitely have too many stores, so I'd personally say stick the crown/gems/endeavors into one store together and have only the tome separate.

The other night I was trying to show my partner a pet, but stupidly I forgot exactly where I'd seen it. Took about 5 mins to find the little git lol.

The stores are also a clunky mess for new players who don't understand why they can't see all the items in one place. It's a real challenge even seeing the items that only pop up for a few days.

I've done this before too. Can't find an item because I don't remember if it's crowns, gems, trade bars which is so frustrating

I personally like that I don't have to wade through Crown items to find the stuff I can purchase with the Seals. It would make the whole thing annoying to find what can be bought with Seals if it was all combined. You know they won't EVER allow everything that can be bought with crowns to be gotten with Seals or they would lose Crown sales.

Yes, I wish they would consolidate all this stuff. I didn't think seals were even still used and that they were converted to something else.

The seals exist because of the Crown Crates. It gets ZOS out of some murky legal waters by having an alternative way to buy things aside from gambling loot boxes.

crowns and gems are both account owner purchases (gems via duplicate crown "rewards" or converting consumables) vs seals are in-game earnables, so it will never happen.

There's been an ESO Plus discount on a Crown Gem/Seal-exclusive item once before. In the ESO Plus tab, the same item occupied two image spaces in the store, with each image having a different currency on it.

There is something I can buy with seals, but not to gift it. I wanted to give it to my friend. But I can't buy it for crowns, because it's in a crate. So i can't choose it buy it with real money. As its in a crate, high chance I'll never get it, so no point buying the whole thing and trying that way.

    I think that's nuts.

I think rules like that, are nuts.

I like the idea of combining the Endeavors page with the Crown store pages. It’s kind of silly that the Endeavors store just has two pages that cycle endlessly and are repeated several times across the top of the screen.. If I remember correctly the Crown store page has both stuff for Crowns and stuff for gems. The ones that are available for Seals can just have another currency added to them.
