I need help choosing a class in PvP

I enjoy playing pure classes. I have already played a DK, Necromancer, and a little Sorcerer and NB. But very little as Sorcerer and NB. I would play all the classes, but unfortunately, after playing a Necromancer and having a negative experience, I no longer want to make such mistakes.
Here is my class top list:
1. DK
2. Sorc
3. NB
4. Templar
5. Warden
6. Arcanist
7. Necro
My top list is based on my personal experience and the number of players encountered in battlegrounds for each class. So please don’t judge too harshly. I have already played a lot as a DK and Necromancer. And I played as DK even before patch 49. I understand that DK and subclass builds are the meta now, but at a good level of play, you can enjoy playing pure classes too. However, I wouldn’t want to make the same mistake I did with choosing Necromancer. As a DK in patch 48, my K/D was 2.0+ and my win rate over 50%, but as a Necromancer my K/D was 0.9-1.0 and win rate 43-45%. It’s terrible... I have already tried a huge number of builds, but unfortunately, it doesn’t help.
That’s why I’m asking for help in choosing my next class.

I mean, if your only concern is winning then just look up some guides on what is considered the strongest build right now. Or just stick with DK.

On the other hand, if you actually enjoy the process of coming up with builds and trying out ideas just to see what they end up as then pick whatever. Admittedly, I don't think that freedom of builds is anywhere as near as good as it used to be since multi-classing became a thing. But at some point, every class is going to end up being the most broken and overpowered thing in the game anyway so it's not like you will never use anything you make right now.

BGs are not real PVP. They are no-CP and rely heavily on terrain, maps, and BG specific builds. But the big one is there are a lot of apathetic players who quit during the BG.

Cyrodiil looks nothing like BGs. Nightblades have been consistently the overwhelming and longstanding favorite class in PVP. All of the other classes have had their day in the sun. But with subclassing, the only class that matters (currently) is Warden because of their class mastery script that includes Charm. My personal choice has always been DK because I like the melee/brawler style of gameplay. Right now its a top class, but that will change as it always has and always will. But I also like NBs if I feel like ganking or bombing.

Any class can be effective once you know how to PVP. Conversely, there is no class that will make a noob an instant beast.

Last, K/D ratios are lazy metrics that do not show anything, especially a player's ability in PVP. They are particularly irrelevant in ESO as even the best PVPers die in Cyrodiil and die a lot, while a cheese tank will die far less but require less skill to play.

For the most part with the remaining classes your choice is between two Single Target classes, Sorc and NB, and two AoE Classes, Templar and Warden. Arcanist leans AoE, but I wouldn't pick Arc for Our Fake PVP unless you really want to, it's a bit difficult to make shine. The Real PVPers might do Arc better if you wanna try and get into West Point to learn from them. 🤭

Overall Warden is the next best class after the outrageously and absurdly OP - for now - DK, even without the Charm that we all hope is soon deleted. Warden still has the single best healing skill and the single best damage skill, pretty sure, in Polar Wind and Deep Fissure.

Warden is also the thematic counterpart to DK, with many of the same general underlying mechanics. So if you have experience on DK but want to try something else that doesn't make you look like an exploiter, and you have a bad taste left in your mouth from errant Blastbones running off to disintegrate in failure, try the class with the superior ranged delayed burst AoE.

    Try Warden.

The problem is that I'm not interested in just farming kills on a DK. So after playing two weeks on patch 49, I decided to create a Necromancer, which I now regret. I enjoy the competitive aspect. I understand that subclass builds and DKs are the current meta, and I know that pure classes are weaker. But considering my experience playing a DK before patch 49, when I had good stats and enjoyed PvP, I hope it's possible to play just as well on another class now.

I play not only BG 4v4 but also play IC a lot.

I also played as a DK until patch 49, but unfortunately, until the other classes are reworked, DK is not interesting to me (it's too strong right now to enjoy playing).

I used to think so. But it turned out that the Necromancer is just bugged and unplayable. I have tried an enormous number of sets and their combinations on it. And even with huge effort, at best I get what I used to get effortlessly when playing as a DK in patch 48. For example, just the number of games I played on BG 4v4. And I have also played a lot in IC and Cyrodiil. That's why I asked for advice from more experienced players.

I use this statistics only for myself. It helps me understand which build is better.

Well yes, the Warden looks more interesting than the others, as after patch 50 there will at least be worthy opponents (DK and possibly subclass builds (although they might be weakened due to the Warden's skill rework))
