Relequen can tick twice per second if you light attack at a specific cadence. I think weaving slow enough that the 1s tick can occur, and then the light attack will also trigger a tick.

Not sure if intended or a bug, but it's been this way probably longer than the damage done to monsters thing.

Veteran players have been alienated and disengaged from Overland since One Tamriel, due to the lack of difficulty, and pushed into dungeons and trials; the minority of content in the Elder Scrolls Online. We can't take the repetition anymore, fix Overland engagement for Vet players. I don't even care if it's not combat related anymore, just make Overland engaging again.

Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. Make a self debuff mythic. Literally anything at this point.

    Can you show a CMX with a sustained 2 ticks per second?

    When I tested this years ago I found you can make it tick twice within a second (the once per second tick plus on the light attack), but in testing it didn’t seem possible to reach anywhere close to twice per second as a sustained rate. At best it was about 1.4 ticks per second, and that’s on someone (else) with impeccable parse timing. Outside of static boss fights it would be much less.

    I always thought the bigger problem, especially now that it’s more desirable in PvP, is that purging it can drop multiple stacks, but one more light attack shot them all back up to 10. I’ve seen 1 stack + 1 hit = 10 stacks in testing with CMX, which I suppose 1 + 1 = 10 can be true but I’m pretty sure not in the way they were aiming for.

    LA hits will indeed proc another tick so if you weave you get double ticks. Has always been like that. They fixed the cd timer and nerfed the damage by 2% in U47 so I will assume it is a feature at this point.
