I’d like to see celebration events for newer DLCs come back to at least make those zones a bit more populated for a while. Trying to get leads from world bosses or things like Bastion Nymics, or even getting achievements such as doing 30 Bastion Nymic quests can take forever if you did not do the content right after release because not a lot of players still do them. While Nymics can be solo’d on the right build they can take 3-5 business days to complete.
I feel like zone based events, the way they worked in the past, will no longer be a thing. But if they were replaced by 2 or 3 weeks of a golden pursuit and double drops without the tickets or event boxes that would be good.i imagine Necrom, infinite Archive, and West Weald will have an event later in 2026

It was disappointing to not get an official double drop event for Solstice's vOC. That trial is already so a slog to get through, and is rather tough for many groups.
I'd like to see more mini events that draw players out to older incursions and world bosses though. I'm not sure how they would incentivize it, but it could be nice. I don't feel that many players do the older zone content due to difficulty/time once the year is over. A few like dragons because of heroism potions may.

If there was ever a Solstice event in mind, it likely got tabled after the WW event. Most players had had their fill of anything Solstice by that point.
Right, we had Daedric War, a catchall rerun event for a few old zones, but we had no event for Necrom which would have fit the previous pattern of revisiting a zone from 2 years prior. This year we had no zone event, instead we had hearts week, a shortened transitional event.PeacefulAnarchy wrote: »I feel like zone based events, the way they worked in the past, will no longer be a thing. why not?
we had Daedric War celebration in November

Future iterations of this event will receive some foundational changes, so stay tuned!

I agree. Double drops is a good thing that incentivizes people to go to do particular content without feeling forced to if you aren't interested and without feeling like you're missing out if you miss it. That kind of lower stakes spotlight feels like something they could do regularly without people feeling burnt out or pressured. If not full events, perhaps weeks or even just weekends with bonus drops (or some other incentive to come back to specific zones) could work as well.

Runs from April 20 through April 27 on PTS.
The Whitestrakes Mayhem live event has seen several changes to its length and design as an update coming this summer. August will mark the first time we are running the new "One Week Whitestrakes" and we can't wait for your feedback and notes on this venerable PvP throwdown.
What is Whitestrakes Mayhem?
At its heart, Whitestrakes remains the same. When the event is live Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds, and Imperial City combat offer a number of additional rewards. Fighting in those zones gives +100% Alliance Points and +100% Experience, as well as +100% Tel Var stones from most sources. All harvesting in Cyrodiil drops additional resources as well.
The vendor called "the Golden" will still make an appearance on the weekend of Whitestrakes Mayhem. She'll be accompanied by a brand new assistant, so you can purchase both amulets and rings from among their beautifully gilded inventories.
Completing PvP quests and engaging in PvP combat will earn you Pelinal's Boon Boxes along with your Rewards for the Worthy containers. These event-only reward boxes offer some tantalizing benefits both new and old!
What's changed?
Whitestrakes is now a one-week event. It no longer gives out Trade Bars (formerly event tickets) through any of its activities while it is live.
The Impresario will be live while Whitestrakes is up so that players that want to acquire past Whitestrakes Mayhem rewards can do so. There's an enormous number of style motifs that will become available via the Impresario and Philus Dormer in the new version of Whitestrakes Mayhem, so keep your eyes open for trade bar opportunities between now and then.
Going forward, any new Whitestrakes Mayhem rewards will be focused through the Pelinal's Boon Boxes.
Why did Whitestrakes Change?
In short, so that the Whitestrakes live event can act as a more lightweight, "drop-in" style activity, we can run several times a year.
As part of our broader Seasons-based strategy we want to try to take different approaches on events both new and old, as you'll see with High Seas of Tamriel later this year.
Our current plan is to run Whitestrakes in August and November of this year, and then roughly "once every three months" in 2027. This is our current plan in April of 2026 and - as with so many things in life - is subject to change.
As part of this change, Pelinal's Boon Boxes have received a bit of a glow-up in terms of their contents.
