Unclaimed Tome Points

What happens to unclaimed tome points when the week or the season ends? Like if I forgot to actually go and press "E". Are they just gone? I know ZOS is planning to add an accept all button, is there an addon that just handles this yet? I never needed to claim seals of endeavor in the old system.

There are at least two add-ons that autoclaim tome points:

They remain there ready to claim until you claim them.

The only negative impact this can have is if you are in this state and have 8 or more weekly challenges active. This would prevent you from getting new ones assigned when they reset.

Edit: and by new ones I mean the 5 you get each week. So on the scenario I described above you would get only 4 the next week if you left one unclaimed.
