First time group dungeons

I just did my first group dungeons, the banished cells and the grotto. I had a blast!

I was scared my character wouldn't do well because, well, I tend to suck at things like this. I guess we did ok because we finished the quests.

I am VR rank 1 at the moment (or lvl 50) and wiped more times in dungeons than I care to count, however I have yet to see raging or ragequitting from anyone so I have good experience here (and I am the healer almost all the time).

I also like the difficulty of the dungeons, if you know the mechanics and have a decent party, they are okay but if you are first time there, especially if the whole group is a.first timer, chances are, the bosses will wipe the floor with you in 1-2 hits. And you just get back to it and taste some dust again but keep getting up till you finally beat it! I remember, we spent well over an hour wiping at the last bosses in Volenfell. We even had to port out to repair but it was fun, we got it in the end. (The tank changed to Dps and we were just kiting/dodging).

I feel new myself. I did banished cells and I died once. I'm a little bit worried about the future because we had a level 32 tank with us and it would have been much nastier without him/her. I hope I can find groups that won't get mad at me for inexperience.

Even if you find a random raging moron, just don't bother about them.

And as I noticed, either the characters don't get boosted that much with each level here or the higher level people get a bit nerfed temporarily in the dungeon since I saw them dying pretty fast too and they don't 2-hit enemies either.

Higher level people make it easier, true but you, and even they, still have to pay attention.

Ya, we wiped quite a bit in banished cells. That last boss chased us around all over the place. The grotto, not too bad, wiped a couple times. Both pretty good groups. I like using the grouping tools, no standing around asking in zone chat looking for a group.

It can be a problem for higher levels though because every wipe is lost coin on repairs with nothing to counter the loss because you don't get drops. Taking higher levels only limits patience on some bosses because there is less or no incentive to actually stick through any wipes.
