anyone think it's confusing the events and the seasons do not start the same time?

like this season and night market, night market is included as season 0 in all the news and stuff but doesn't even start until some strange later date. same for the tomes earlier. this is very confusing to someone not following every news release.

Night Market is an event zone, events always start after updates, they are only one part of a season.
The season 0 Tamriel Tome released with season 0 on April 2.

i suggest checking the ESO website or these forums weekly for news posts, they get pinned in Recent Discussions.

The ESO website has monthly Survival Guides with roadmap pictures and the seasons have roadmaps too.
- Survival Guides get posted at the end of each month for the month after, May's guide should be posted in about 2 weeks.

It feels disjointed for me that the main playable feature in regards to content is released a month or so after the season, if the seasons are supposed to feel themactic.

I know most games I have played release their pass at the same time as some new feature.

I'm not saying I am confused, since I saw the schedule and am used to battlepasses - but it's not as ideal as when they are planned for the content aligning better with the season start.

This all is messed up because update 49 acts like the season 0 start. Here's quoted stuff.

Update 49 and Season Zero: Dawn and Dusk introduces a new kind of zone experience while also laying the groundwork for future seasonal additions. the season and update contain the following:
The Night Market Event Zone
Twenty all new player experience improvements
The first wave of class and combat refresh improvements- Dragonknight and Two-Handed Weapons
The introduction of Tamriel Tomes with the Tome, Dawn and Dusk
The introduction of the Gold Coast Bazaar
There are brief breakdowns of the Season Zero

Finding the play a bit stale and feels like a lot of waiting for something. I felt there was something to do during the event but it still has a churn feel to it. Now there is just 'the game' hanging out there and I'm trying to decide what to do exactly.
