Combat Logging Question.

Hi all.

So I recently just did Vet Sunspire and I was the one who logged the trial.

When I uploaded the logs it came out saying I did the highest damage (barely) and while I was happy with that result I did have a feeling of "This doesn't seem right"

I'm using a Frost based build that I have customized to my own liking and at it's peak on a trial dummy I've hit 117k DPS.

However there are builds out there that easily hit 130, 140, 150, or even 160k on the trial dummies, in the trial we had multiple beam builds and even a DK whip build and in my mind someone who's got an extra 300+ CP on me and using a build that can parse far higher than my little build can should utterly wreak me in a trial (ignoring deaths ect)

So my very long winded question is. Is logging a bit.. buggy? As I can assume it's easy for the logs to give a perfect recount for the loggers DPS but is there a chance ect that other people's DPS gets "missed" or miscounted compared to the loggers making the person who logs look better than they are?

Builds themselves don’t create damage. They could’ve been doing poorly at the build or dying a lot or doing mechanics or stopping damage for some reason. Depending on setups/optimization, they could’ve been underpen or undercrit whilst you were not.

If you went into the portal it'll only log you and your portal mates for the duration.
