Must say this is the first year since we have had this event I can say I’m glad it’s over. Rewards were aweful and it was mostly inventory management with trash style pages and too many furnishings. Did get a good little stock of a few mats but overall it was the worst Jubilee yet by far and probably won’t be looking forward to it anymore.

Well I made about 30 mil but I usually make around 50-60 during this event. I’m not talking about gold I’m talking about enjoyment. Seemed more of a hassle than anything. Glad it’s over.

If you're tired of participating in any part of the event, you can stop at any time, don't you?
Ultimately, it's your decision whether to continue with something that doesn't bring you joy.

I hope it is not another topic that turns into "ZoS enforces us to grind these rewards we don't want" :)

30 million is still a lot. Also, it sounds like you burnt yourself out more than a problem with the event design. It's just boxes for doing dailies or getting boss/world event kills.

Stuff sure was hard to sell during this event.
Filled up all my 5 guild traders (150 items) at bottom prices yet only sold 1 item per day on average, while that used to be 10 to 15.
Chaszmyr Do'Benrae (Dunmer Magsorc Vampire Infinity) ~ Dusk Doublespeak (Breton Magplar Werewolf) ~ Stan of Rimari (Nord Dragonknight Tank) ~ Bunto Kim Alhambra (Redguard Magplar Paladin) ~ Alicyankali (Argonian Magicka Necromancer Draugr Kin) ~ Gruuman Odinfan (Orsimer Magplar) ~ Boymans van Beuningen (Khajiit Stam Warden Bowzerker) ~ Flannelflail (Imperial Stamina Nightblade Brawler PVP) ~ Calastir (Altmer Stamina Dragonknight) ~ Sallystir (Bosmer Stam Warden Frostbite PVP) ~ Zalastir (Altmer Magicka Warden Ice Storm) ~ Capt Peach (Nord Stamcanist Crux Cannon) ~ PC EU ~ Flynt Westwood (Bosmer Magicka Dragonknight) ~ Chandu the Conjurer (Redguard Magcanist Rune Walker) ~ PC NA ~ since May 26th, 2021.

Yeah. I actually didn't bother this year because my stuff wasn't selling like it used to and I just couldn't be bothered to farm like that this year.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled with it. I look forward to this event in the hopes of getting motifs I'm missing. But I got very few and the ones I did get were all old (3+ years). Plus, I just did not want to grind for purple boxes. Mats and the occasional recipe just aren't incentive enough to do it. It just reinforces that my interest has bottomed out until they release some new content. Time to go back to Dark Souls, I guess.

The burn out can get real. I grinded myself into not playing when worm cult plans dropped and I spent all my time in broken light temple. You gotta just play to have fun, some folks treat it like a job.

That said, to be fair, these boxes were just not great for me. I opened hundreds, probably over a thousand just doing writs on all my characters and zone dailies on a couple, with world bosses for tome stuff as well. I found them to be a step down. Gold boxes that contained nothing but materials, sometimes 10 or more boxes not having a motif, rate material or furnishing plan. Not as good as previous years, regardless if people made millions. That said, I did manage to get some cool motifs. No good plans though, which is weird. I'll probably make some gold though I like to learn all motifs on my crafter before I sell stuff. Not bad, could've been better.

Pretty 'eh' for me this year too. Didn't even get the fragment on this account.

No new motifs added to the leveled lists either. Good for those farming the motifs in the dungeons/trial, they will keep the prices for longer, but a disappointment nonetheless.

A handful of dusts - which is nice - and that's about it.

Guild trader did a bit better but it looks like even restoring the 30 day listings the 'good old times' ain't coming back.

Wish we all got that memo and stopped bidding like is 2022.

What I never understood is why are the furnishings that were dropped bound. It was that way previous years as well... While the undaunted event is unbound and sellable. Does this make sense?

Because they are also available to purchase from the holiday achievement vendor. So outside of looting them during a holiday event, a player isn't supposed to be able to buy them for coin unless they have the achievements.

I’m always a little glad when it’s over because of the inventory management game it creates. I choose to sell for less and pass older things down to alts rather than squeeze every last dime out of them. I also just do the things I would normally do and not farm boxes.

I got a few good motifs to sell, I also got a couple of those Solstice paintbrush plans I didn’t have, and the fragment. I was disappointed that many of the mats like decorative wax only dropped a single piece, though. Everywhere else in the game the furnishing mat awards are stingy, it used to be better during the event but now it’s as bad.

I said during event not from event. I did do good enough from event but I guess the drag is caused by expecting it to be the same as before and that’s a let down. As boxes being on cooldown and such. Overall I’m disappointed in the event but it’s still better than most just not what it was.

How when I do my daily writs and daily activities? That was part of the event. I didn’t want to stop playing entirely during event. It was mainly the same ole furniture, prints and pages that got annoying. When that’s all you get 75% of the time it gets stale.

I just did crafting dailies, something I do anyway.

Only difference is during Anniversary I do every character I have, which is currently 40(3 Accounts)

I have spent most of this evening starting to sort out my inventories, banks, guild bank and mailbox..... I have stuff stashed everywhere.

Tonight I have been doing furnishing plans, although my main, on my main account knows most stuff, my mains on the other two don't so they've had a nice boost in knowledge. Atm it looks like I may have 100 or so plans left, so not too bad.

I haven't counted the motifs up as of yet but my initial estimate is approx 600+ and some of those will by the end of the year be quite valuable again.

Mats again I haven't fully assessed what I have but I did get 10 dust, more roe than I could keep up with counting, a few each of Mourning Dew and Ruby Blossom, loads of rheum and dragon blood(too much) and a decent restock of things like culanda laquer, shimmering sand, ivory brigade clasp etc.

I find it disappointing too that actual furnishing mats only drop in singles now but other than that I'm quite happy with my stash!

Edit:- To add, I got two Ciphers also.

If your point of comparison is the reward boxes from 2024 (and 2025 to a large extent), then yes; the 2026 event was extremely stingy. But 2024 was the 10th anniversary of the game and 2025 was the 10th anniversary of of the game on consoles and both of those events ran exceptionally long. 2024 ran for about 20 days (a bit longer on PC because the PTS kerfuffle shut down the PC servers for a day or two) and 2025 ran for about 20 days, too (without the kerfuffle). If your point of comparison is anything prior to 2024, then 2026 was pretty much in line with those events in terms of both rewards and duration.

Yes, I got a couple of hundred purple provisioning recipes that all of my characters already knew, and close to than number of outfit style pages, which they also knew. The major problem being that they knew all those things BECAUSE they've been doing these kinds of events for about five years. I ran out of places to store motif pages and won't be selling many until prices restabilize in a month or two, so grabbed an alt and fed them several dozen motifs that wouldn't have sold for much anyway. No big loss and I'll end up getting a few more Master Writs out of the deal anyway once they fill in a few holes ("cheap" motifs are easier to get than the pricey ones). All in all, not too bad for an Anniversary and I don't have another week of writ grind to endure, either.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

I'm still exhausted from trying to give away all the Bonemold style stuff. Several times I got nothing in the gold box. Don't have all the DD armor and unsurprisingly, I no longer care.

I can't complain, I made 9mil from one chapter drop. I have two cyphers, 500 rheum, 100 roe and other goodies from farming writs and dragons. I do think the provisioning recipes were overboard. Inventory management in this game always sucks during these kinds of events.

For me the event was fine. If the drops were better then people would complain about killing the market.

Only thing that I dislike is the way those new fragments drop. If you get them (and its RNG) then you re fine, but If you don't you feel unlucky and have some disadvantage to other players (you can buy the fragment on next event, but you are still 1k trade bars behind due to this, and there is a lot of cool stuff to spend them on now). I don't believe it is a good/healthy design.

My solution - don't limit the fragment drop to golden boxes.

I hardly made any money besides the normal gold for the dailies themselves, but I made very good progress completing my master crafters' motif collections so I'm happy.

Pretty close to my experience, although not quite so many boxes. My crafter has been getting first dibs on plans, recipes, and motifs for years, so not much new for them. Got lots of stuff that my alts didn't know, but the crafter is a tough case when it's RNG and there are only a couple of dozen holes in ~1650 motif chapters.

The same, but on a positive note I was able to use AwesomeGuildStore to search for plans I WAS missing and buy them cheap. I have been collecting plans on my main crafter for many years, so I shouldn't be missing TOO much anyways.

It did seem like drops from crates were toned down this Jubilee. I got more recipes and plans than normal and fewer motif pages.

I just wish the old style pages were taken away from the loot table and be sold in seperate containers at the impresario.
Deleting them was a tedious task .Worse than that, those pages dropping from the golden box prevented the oportunity of platers getting something beter/useful like the fragments.

I am very organized and don't have an inventory problem which actually made the amount of items to deal with even more frustrating because I felt the need to deal with these every day and not let them build up. I had to spend a lot of time every day sorting and dealing with all the wreaths etc. that I do not want any more of. And pricing all the patterns and styles and motifs that I don't need and placing them on our trader. It took a lot of time that I'd rather be using for other activities.

And I couldn't just not acquire these boxes because I received a total of 49 boxes each day just doing my daily crafting writs on 7 characters, and I sell all my gold mats from them which is how I earn my gold, so I didn't want to skip them.

The only good thing is that my main crafter did learn a lot of new motifs and patterns.

I got roughly the same number of Motifs but way fewer Blueprints than I usually do, so that was weird.

What I'm more bothered by is the fact that Style Mats are still only dropping in stacks of five. Considering how much some of these cost and how many are required for certain Furnishing types, it's a pita to have to farm or buy them. A lot of people, myself included, use the Jubilee to stock up on these mats for ourselves, and it just doesn't feel good to have them still be gutted. It's even worse for the Housing Mats like Heartwood; why are those only dropping in singles? Why can't they at least drop in stacks of five too?

    @ZOS_JessicaFolsom
Maybe it can get passed along to the devs for the future to unnerf the mats in Jubilee Boxes? There was no problem in all the years before 2024/25 with them dropping in stacks of 20, why do they need to continue to be nerfed instead of being returned to how they used to be? Especially since the Jubilee doesn't run some 20-odd days EVERY year and only did for those anniversaries?
