The deconstruct already ignores locked items and anything you normally can't deconstruct in your bag... Lol

Just because something isn't locked doesn't mean we want to deconstruct it.

I know this but that isn't what I an referring to. What if I wanted to sell some items but choose deconstruct all out of habit before listing them? Things like this would happen.
Too much possibility for accidents IMO.

you could just unselect those items or sell first

That would be ideal but we know accidents will happen. Which would lead to tickets being opened to restore items, etc.. There is just too much room for error.

I serioiusly doubt it would be a one-click-oopsie! design. I'd be content with a simple dummy-check mechanic.

It could be added as a "Select All" option on the current "Select" button, as we already have the button to deconstruct all selected items. So on console that would be two press-holds and done. I think that would reduce the risks associated with having a single "select all and deconstruct" button. Seems like a good idea.
Would be a nice option if we had a select all for deconning items
