Ideas for a "Plain Class"

I know this has been brought up before and I know it might be asking a lot with the current Class reworks lined up, but I think it could be a unique and novel idea that could be introduced at a later date.

They way I could see this working is a Class that benefits from what is already in the game, in other words the Class Skill Lines don't have Class skills, just Class Passives and a lot more of them than the other Classes. I'm not sure if adding an extra 5 Passives to each Skill Line would be a good way to balance this Class, but it would encourage players to interact with already existing Skill Lines to build their character and could be an interesting way to shake things up.

As for what the Class would be called I think Adventurer would be fitting.

This is actually an interesting idea for a self-imposed challenge. I know that's not the way you meant it, but it's certainly testable. So, would you still use weapon / guild abilites or just passives?

In theory, couldn't you do this by not putting points into any of your class skills or passives, and just putting points into the 'other' skill lines like weapon, alliiance war, and mage/fighter/undaunted/psjiic etc? Could even toss in vamp skills if you want since those don't require a transformation ulti. Or are there specific skills that you want to see that aren't covered ?

A new skill line would be fun to see thought! I've been hoping for more special classes where it could just be one or two skill lines, that could be subclassed into a build. Bard would be a good one to see created for instance.

Sidenote: Pugilist/weaponless would be a great 'weapon line' to see. Actually doing a build without a weapon is a painful experience due to how weapons are a big part of damage calculation. Even with that penalty it is still fun to just go up and let your Barbarian toon have their fun with monsters. :D

Only if it comes with the full experience of being a common citizen of Tamriel, where other players can kill you anytime with Blade of Woe, and then steal your Werewolf Musk Oil.

Only if I can come back as a ghost and haunt you. I mean, there's gotta be a downside...
