Seasonal Challenges
- Larger challenges that take longer to complete but offer greater rewards
- Some of these challenges take the full duration of the Season, but others are introduced mid-Season or during unique events, too.

Nope, you're right. Just a mistake on my end when I was looking at the bug. It's a Seasonal Challenge. I'm editing my post above to correct it. Thanks for the catch!

Im definitely not against them expanding the task options which I think in time they may. There really is an endless list of possibilities. The ones that exist now are a good variety and it tries to reach all types of players.
I find myself doing different things around Tamriel now and that is a good thing. Also, doing thectasks with other people which is great!

Why force us to do this meaningless activity?

Why does it have to be with a friend of guildmate? Why not just "do it"?

Friend player at the friend list "or" guild mate.
Why not just do it?
Well....Endeavor has chance to encourage people to communicate with other players.
Because it's MMO. For the newbies, it's a precious "chance" to learn that how to behave
in the dungeon as specific role.
Mostly in random grouping.... there're so many of fake role everywhere.
Especially "fake tank" and bad healer.

In LotRO you can end up killing 450 of a just a particular type of enemy within a zone for just single minor achievements. I used to do multiple of those within a day. Doing 1000 over than span of literal months really doesn't strike me as a challenge. Just running around every couple days for a few minutes will easily complete the thing.

In that case the "challenge" is to avoid dying of boredom.
