Server capacity issues in 2026

So it's 2026.

Between the broken bar swaps, skill firing delays, constant rubber banding, , and frequent 999+ ping with disconnects it’s the same frustrating cycle.

It’s baffling that after all these years ZOS can still prioritize Crown Store updates and launch content oh and a Battle Pass to drive engagement, while the servers collapse under any "above average" workload. You’re asking for our time and investment but failing to provide a functional environment to play in.

How is it that ZOS has the resources to rebuild databases, revamp skill visuals, add story content that drives revenue , but server stability has never improved in a decade.. Mind blowing.

The monetization is flawless; the servers are a disaster. Fix the foundation before you keep building the roof.

Its not even as if numbers are that high either - not seeing a particularly larger increase in player base in my guilds compared to the usual April/May release times

In an ideal world this would be constructive feedback but I very much doubt it will be even looked at.

Why do you think it's flawless i wonder? I for one have canceled ESO+ on both my accounts and will never ever give a cent for that grindfest they call a "battle pass". No new content, OK. I'm fine with that, just don't expect money for nothing.

As for the server stability, i'm not aware of any other game that has so many downtimes just out of the blue. Especially in EU.

If I had a dime for every time I included the phrase, "You cannot build a foundation on sand" in my feedback/tickets, I'd be able to pay cash and buy Microsoft itself, lol. More emphasis is placed on marketing players into spending money than actually providing a service.
The ride was mostly fun while it lasted, best wishes to those moving on. Fair winds into the future.
